"I lived here for two years and the complex does very little to help its tenets as well as harasses them at every turn. The rent is also astronomical for what you get as far as amenities. My dishwasher wasn't properly installed and leaned pretty much the whole time I lived there. The counters weren't installed properly. My GF had her motorcycle's ignition keyed in the guest parking lot. They have cameras around the office but didn't have footage so I guess they weren't on. They also run through office staff like a saw mill, no one wants to work for this place. I'd avoid this place and rent elsewhere."

"I’ve lived here for almost 2 years, in the last 6 months it’s completely taken a turn for the worse. My boyfriend spent the night only to wake up to find his $2000 tires and rims were stolen off his vehicle in visitor parking. All 4 wheels, leaving his vehicle on cider blocks. I’ve had gas siphoned out of my car, windows broken, packages stolen. Management is a complete joke, they won’t even change my email to the correct one in their system after asking many times and sending them emails from my actual email. There is a homeless camp now right behind our gates to parking. This place is just a joke now. It’s starting to get infuriating. Plus I’m sure we’ll get a parking violation on his unmovable truck because he doesn’t live here and doesn’t have a pass and is in visitor parking. You get violations for everything and neighbors are loud and disrespectful. Go somewhere else."

"Would NOT recommend. Three things that I had wrong in my first 6 months Oven stopped working. Maintenance team came in and said it was a faulty panel. Then came to replace it with new part. The maintenance guy said “You’re lucky the building didn’t burn down, whoever installed it did it wrong and the wires have been sparking on the wall and on each other the whole time.” Submitted a request to talk to someone about this. No response. What could be worse than the building burning down? Your three month old “NEW” AC unit being filled with all kinds of mold. Pushing it through your apartment every day without you noticing till it grows to the outside and you notice. How many other people’s units are like this? Strict rules for what? Want to let your dog play out on the balcony? Make sure you don’t even leave a single toy out there or you’ll get a violation notice. Want to let your pool towel dry? Better not or a violation notice. Left the dog bowl out there in the summer for him to get a drink and got a violation notice. Hard to live somewhere where you’re scared to live your life without the threat of being evicted."

"We lived here for two years and had few problems for the first few months, but after staffing changes and increased crime in the area, there are a few things to note regarding white oak apartments: ⁃    Received official violation of lease notice with no prior warning for a pillow on our balcony that was according to management not “outdoor furniture” the pillow was purchased in the outdoor section at target. ⁃    Multiple other warnings posted to our door for things like plants they considered “dead” and chairs I had stacked because I was cleaning. ⁃    Terrible mail service (lost/stolen packages, mail delivered to wrong address) and no communication from management on any steps to resolve the issue. - No way to contact MDI Management in the rental portal, even when they overcharged my rent by $1,000 on the last month I stayed there. I had to contact my bank to resolve the issue and it was a huge headache. ⁃    No communication from management regarding security issues at complex. Have had to call 911 multiple times. ⁃    Management placed a sticker on car for a parking violation/towing notice. only parked in front of office because no spots available in lot. Placing a notice is understandable, but a sticker on my car that will not come off and leaves residue is destruction of property ⁃    Issues like mail service and security are not addressed in monthly newsletter. Instead, reminders of overly strict rules regarding parking and balcony, front door space, and trash disposal"

"This is not a very good complex. Quiet hours are not reinforced by anything, very noise upstair neighbors. It seems they don’t sleep. They are up all night. And quiet time for them starts at 6am. When I wake up for work. despite the many complaints submitted and reviewed by management it appears they don’t care. Not only that but I have two upstairs neighbors who don’t go out and smoke. My family and me are smoke free. We don’t appreciate the multiple times through one day I need to open my windows in this hot weather to clear up all the smoke and smell. It is not appreciated at all. And of course management doesn’t care. I have only lived here one month and I am really thinking of breaking the contract. I have a newborn baby, it is rude and disrespectful neighbors who don’t understand what a no puffing building this is. I hate and get sick of the smell. Makes me vomit. If you’re reading this and have an intention of coming here, please don’t. Very bad experience and management only pays attention to what they want and not the needs of residents."
