Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn

"Overall, a fairly nice place. The complimentary breakfast or discount coupons for Denny's Restaurant across the parking lot is a plus, unless you don't want to go outside before breakfast. Building, pool area and room is clean and modern. My only complaint was that the bathroom floor tile was dangerously slippery! We got a disability room with a walk in shower. The shower tile was fine, but the main floor was like walking on a layer of soap!"

"Won't stay here again and I travel here for work often. "Complimentary" breakfast is at Dennys so plan to add that to your morning time and yuck. The wait staff seem to dislike hotel guests (can you blame them?) and aren't very friendly. And dennys is gross. The given breakfast is ONE option or $10 towards something else. There is plenty of space in the hotel to put in a breakfast area. The espresso bar is nice which came in handy being that the hotel staff didn't refill our coffee or water when they cleaned our room. We stayed 3 nights too. I was here for work so finding out I had to allow time for a restaurant breakfast each morning was a negative surprise. Cleaning staff turned off our heating unit the first time they cleaned our room. That's not okay. The pool and hot tub are at least decent. There are better hotels in this area."

"Location is very clean and well put together. Nicely updated and kept clean. Pool, hot tub, sauna and gym are all clean and large. Misty at the front desk was absolutely incredible, made our stay very easy. She is very nice we will be back to this specific location, because of clean rooms and Misty at front desk"

"The staff was super helpful and courteous. They had common items needed like bowls and plates for heating stuff up in the microwave in the rooms. Even things that most places don't offer like q-tips free of charge. Great sauna just give it 15 mins to warm up before you go in and it will be perfect."

"I drove 40 minutes away to stay at this Best Western based on the reviews. I thought, “Well, I have never stayed in Salem so will give it a shot”. The desk helper was so nice and welcoming. She was genuine, funny and was asking me about my dogs, oh l love dogs. I got there a little early and instead of giving you that look she was like you came here let me get you in and let me in early which was super nice and not expected. Then I was grabbing my stuff when about 30 or more military personnel came in and I thought oh I am so glad I got here when I did. I put my things in my room and came back out to grab my dogs and she was smiling and laughing and there were only like 3 left. I don’t know how she checked them in that quickly. It is so rare to see good customer service with a smile and someone so happy to be there. I went into the room, and it was just perfect. I had a king-size bed with a little kitchen that had a sink, fridge, and microwave with a big empty cabinet under the sink to put all your food in so my dogs couldn’t get to it. Across from the kitchen was this huge closet with a rack next to the bathroom so you can put all your items in there and be close to the bathroom if you need anything. The room was just the right size. Everything worked, it was cute as a button, and everything was so clean. The cleaning team were also so nice and thoughtful. I brought two smaller dogs and usually when I go to a place you get the out of the way place to walk your dogs with no bags. This property was pristine, gorgeous, the grass was so green and this hidden area for the dogs to walk around with so many bushes to sniff. The poop bags were stocked full, and I didn’t see one poop anywhere, I was so shocked. Then breakfast was at the Denny’s next door. You got a complimentary 2 eggs, 2 sausages or bacon, hashbrowns, your choice of a bread and juice, tea or coffee or if you didn’t like that you got $10 off something from the menu. I was like no way. It was delicious and everyone at Denny’s was so nice and again extraordinary customer service, they were quick, happy to have you. The whole visit was great. I will go 40 miles out of my way again to stay there. Great job Team Mill Creek Inn, Salem, OR!!!!"
