"I love so many things about The Grand: the location, the underground parking (safe and dry!), walkability to downtown area, the quiet atmosphere inside the hotel, great dining at Bentley's, the absolute cleanliness of the room and the grounds, the fantastically pleasant staff - from desk to waitstaff - all deserving of five stars. Yay! The only issue I've had at this property is the bed. If you are a firm bed lover, you'll be right at home. For me, the bed is so firm that I can't get a good night's sleep. I toss and turn from the innerspring coils nailing my my hip. I realize that's just me, but it would be nice to have a bed that's less firm. Because the other enviable features more than make up for it during a short stay, I'll be back again. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and the property in general. Well done, Grand Hotel!"
"Very clean and updates throughout this classic building. The staff were attentive and flexible. The complementary breakfast included eggs, waffles, baked goods, oatmeal, tea, and a rotating menu of proteins and other fresh goodies. A great value for the price and attached directly to the convention center."
"I’m so glad we decided to stay here !! The staff was amazing! They are very helpful and friendly! The room was clean and we had no issues. The breakfast was nice but I wish they had more veggie options. Other than that it was amazing 10/10 recommend!"
"Lovely stay at holiday time. Wonderful lobby decorations (it was fun finding all the 12 Days of Christmas and viewing the gingerbread houses). Attentive and personable breakfast staff. A suite gave us the space for family time. We look forward to another stay when we're back in Salem."
