"I have been here for 2 1/2 months and I'm a single mom. The staff was great and very helpful to me. I thank they should get paid way more then what they do because of there hospitality and customer service they give to the guests here. Every time I've seen them with a guest are with someone checking in the are very pleasant and respectful they treat everyone the same and are very great with anyone that comes in. I would recommend this hotel to people just because of the employees. It's to bad people don't want to pay employees what their worth anymore. But I did like the way they helped and how the treat the guests they all have top of line customer service and they go above and beyond when you give the same back to them. Thanks to the employees I really appreciate you all a lot."
"The front desk person was very nice but that was the extent of anything decent. As we were walking to our room, someone had let their song take a dump on the stairs. It was still there in the morning. One of the washing machines was broken and the dryer barely worked. It cost us $9 to dry a load of laundry. Last but not least they obviously don't care that people sleep in their cars in the parking area. We had to keep checking on our van all night. They were out there tweaking, being loud and up to no good."

"It's older, but keep up well, it's actually quite nice. And is a good deal for the price, they have comfortable mattresses, which is a bonus, cause usually motel mattress are cheap and uncomfortable, not true here! So grateful my back didn't hurt in the morning, my husband loved the breakfast. And it's the same price, if I stayed at motel 6 or whatever cheap place, but Howard Johnson is very comfortable, kind helpful employees. Overall the whole experience was great! Thanks so much."
"Like earlier reviews, this property needs major help. Feels like it's about to be abandoned. I think people live here. Head housekeeper needs to do room checks more often. Nooks and crannies are dirty dirty. The coffee maker is disgusting. Room 234 for future reference. Avoid unless desperate."
