"The apartment manager loves slapping 50 dollar fines onto any minor violation you do she’s not willing to talk to you about possibly fixing the violation and not doing it instead she wants money and doesn’t want to talk about the real issues with the complex I have never lived in such a inconsiderate complex where the manager doesn’t care about the tenants just writing tickets and making fines for us."

"Horrible place to live! WAY over priced for the tiny broken apartment you get. The washers and dryers don’t work in two of three laundry rooms. Instead of putting money into fixing them, they are paying someone to pressure wash the side walks????????? I was fined $250 for having an UN LIT cigarette in my mouth as I was walking out to the street to smoke. The apartment manager Sherri, takes sides and treats people very unfairly. She is unapproachable because she will just make excuses for what ever your complaint might be. She has her friends that live there and they can do whatever they’d like, but I’m being fined!! Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!! Believe me , there is something better out there than this dump! DONT RENT HERE!!!!!"

"Do not put in an application at Firwood. We are currently reporting them to SETA and the Housing Authority for Oregon, as well as contacting Cambridge. They aren’t allowed to charge above $10 for application fees in Eugene and their management charged us $45 each and refused to return the money even after admitting she was aware of the new ordinance. They clearly have a lot of bad reviews and our experience isnt good unfortunately. We found the listing on Craigslist and met Sheri, the management who showed us the unit in Eugene. She was dishonest with us, told us they have a “three strike” rule for acceptance and only needed one year of rental history. We were kept waiting over a week for our background checks when it’s never taken that long and they never contacted our landlords or work. They claimed they denied us bc of “criminal background” (neither of us have one?), and insufficient rental history. This is quite easily provably false. We are confident that they never did a background check, no one was contacted and we checked. We thankfully got into another place but we were nearly homeless due to this negligence. Sheri was very rude, refused to return our money, but did give us corporates number. Updated to add they resolved the refund. Good things to say about Cambridge and their customer service. We appreciated their assistance."

"DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! The manager plays favorites and moves in her drug rowdy friends. They will take all of your deposit and charge you extra on top of it. I lived there for 13 yrs and they are saying I owe 1520. And that is after all my deposits. Corporate does nothing to help out, all they want is money and make living there like hell. Go elsewhere, there are way better places with actual amenities and a manager that actuslly cares."

"Do NOT rent from these people!! They are completely shady and underhanded i.e., asking for additional deposits after your deposits have been paid fully and you have been there more than a year. They are always making up reasons to charge people additional fees. It’s a miserable place to live and the management is super shady!! The rent is outrageous for what you end up with. The management also decided to have people’s cars towed if their tags were expired and they didn’t move their cars! They know the incredible costs involved with moving and know full well that they can pretty much do anything they want, because people can’t afford to move. They also turn the water off fairly regularly for up to 8 hours a day because their sewer system is so bad and constantly having to be “fixed”! Toilets are constantly becoming clogged and the drains never drain appropriately-there is always stagnant water left standing in sinks, bathtub. There is also a massive mice infestation! Take my advice and take your money elsewhere, as these people are the absolute worst!!"
