Residence Inn by Marriott Eugene Springfield

"Outstanding service at this hotel and was a great location to where I was visiting for my work trip. One of the General Managers, Michael, really went above and beyond to really make sure he took care of me and the staff here are all very welcoming and friendly, they are the model examples of what Marriott representatives should exude, especially Michael since we really went above and beyond! For me particularly, I am a Titanium Elite member of Marriott and the Residence Inn staff had complimentarily upgraded me to a very comfortable and spacious suite, which was a great experience and incredible service. I definitely would recommend anyone traveling to Eugene to stay at this hotel for a comfortable, affordable, and welcoming stay!"

"Over-priced. Sketchy area with noisy traffic. Several signs posted in parking lot re: hotel not responsible for items stolen. Hallways littered with discarded takeout items and further crowded by housekeeping carts, with piles of soiled laundry we actually had to move in order to navigate the exit. The room was humid and the air quality felt poor even after opening the windows. Both the couch(pullout) and the chair were uncomfortable. The only plus for us was the kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. Mediocre breakfast. Definitely would not stay here again."

"Extortionate rates. $1600 total cost for three nights after taxes simply a poor value proposition for lodging that capitalizes on location but delivers marginally on hospitality. The staff is super pleasant however, which mitigates a bit"

"Exceptional hotel and super location. A particularly good hot breakfast each morning with lots of options. The only downside is Marriott chose to go with a very inexpensive little coffee maker that you slide a tray in for a crummy cup of coffee. There is always coffee downstairs, but if you want a cup first thing in the morning, I recommend you get some downstairs the night before, bring it up and warm it in the microwave. This is a new appointment to the genuinely nice rooms, which do not in any way belong in a Marriott room. If you want one of their older brew coffee makers, ask at the front desk or when you book at the hotel directly. Mine was in my room last week when I arrived. The employees are great, super friendly and very accommodating to your needs. A must stay hotel if in Eugene!!"
