"Cool and different setup for a hotel. Athletic theme. The bathroom in the room is nice, and the soaps are a great touch. The little interaction I had with staff, they were very kind. Unfortunately, continental breakfast is not for everyone (only got 2 vouchers for 5 people)? There is a mini fridge, but no microwave in the room. Homeless are outside - not a safe feeling. Especially with open access to outside doors & and elevators. The key card is for pool & rooms. The pool area echoes EXTREMELY loud, so it's very overwhelming. Same with the rooms. They are not soundproof, and you can hear everything in the hall from your room or hear everything in rooms while in the hall."

"This is not a question it's a review. I checked in online around 1 o'clock this afternoon for the Even hotel in Eugene Oregon. I arrived a little after five only to find out that my requests were not taken, which is to be on the top floor near the elevator. I'm 70 years old and it's getting difficult. I'm also a platinum elite member and an ambassador member. I was told by the woman at the gas if there was no way I could get a room on the top floor. And I explained to her that I checked in at 1 o'clock that did not matter to her. She tried to buy me off with a free breakfast. And then gave me a room 374 which is the furthest from the elevator as you could possibly get in this hotel. There's a reason we fill out these request because of our ability to move around your hotel. I've had several problems with this over the last couple of months. Twice in the last two months, I've been put in rooms on the lower floors. And obviously you guys don't care about soundproofing anymore between floors. Twice I had to call the manager to ask that the people above me stopped running and dancing and pounding on the floor. The second one in another hotel was there was somebody up above me who was walking with bricks on stomping their feet for every step. Very poor construction very poor of your ability to try and save a nickel. I can't tell you how dissatisfied and disgraced I am with a company that I've been using for over years. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I'd like some kind of resolution to this problem. Otherwise I will start choosing other brands of hotels."

"This hotel was great. It was clean and safe and the staff was all really nice. Alyssa at reception went above and beyond making recommendations for us for local food and entertainment. We were so grateful and all of her suggestions were perfect for us. The room was quiet, the blackout curtains were dark, and the room was clean and well maintained. I would stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to friends."

"Absolutely the best bed I have ever slept on, in Any hotel! Clean room and office / kitchen staff were wonderful. Only downside is having to pay for breakfast, which is better in a "regular" IHG. If you practice yoga you will be glad to see a mat, blocks etc available in the room when you arrive. There are also resistance bands on a wall rack."
