Best Western New Oregon

"Having stayed at both the Holiday Inn just down the road recently and now the Best Western, I felt compelled to leave a review. The Holiday Inn is a far superior hotel for just about the same price. The Best Western is a converted motel with paper thin walls. You will hear your neighbors often. Moreover the pool is detached (no hot tub), and the complimentary breakfast is seriously lacking any healthy options. Lastly, the lack of sustainability with paper plates, plastic utensils, small bottles of shampoo and soap was alarming. Look at the Holiday Inn for a much better hotel experience near campus."

"The room was recently updated. There were stains on the blanket and a weird odor. The front desk person was not very friendly when I arrived and refused to serve me due to the zip code on my ID. Once we continued to discuss why I was visiting, they were willing to check me in. It was a very strange occurrence, and I will not be staying there again when I return for business."

"This is a great property. The staff was exceptional. Room was spacious and clean. I love the texting option to communicate with staff begore and during the stay. They made sure all our requests were done. 5 stars for sure. Would definitely stay here again."

"I work at a high voltage construction company. There was a recent storm in the area so we have had to dispatch several of our crews to Eugene/Springfield. We have over 30 rooms booked at this hotel! This is not an easy task for myself or hotel staff to do. Becuase of the nature of the job, I also can't book rooms far out so there is a lot of communication with myself and this hotel everyday. This hotel has been the easiest hotel for me to work with out of the 25 I have had my guys stay at in the past few weeks. Madison and Cameron have been nothing but accommodating to us and our needs (and let me tell you, we have been needy). If you plan on booking mass amount of rooms, this is a great place to do it! Or if you just want a nice affordable place to stay, this is a fitting option. The hotel is also close to many food and beverage locations. Thank you, Best Western, for providing a warm friendly place for my tired lineman to lay their heads at the end of a long day restoring power to the surrounding area!"

"We stayed as a family while my husband attended a conference at Oregon University. The breakfast service was good with hot and cold options. My children liked the pancake maker for breakfast. The pool was a decent size and goes to 8 ft deep. It was large enough for several families to enjoy at the same time with plenty of room to move around. The fitness room had a bicycle, elliptical, and a treadmill plus a weight machine, dumbbells, and yoga ball. We're a larger family, so we stayed in a family suite. It was clean and had 2 tvs with just enough space to spread out. So we all had an enjoyable time. Our major tip: the walk to the pool goes outside, so plan ahead by bringing flip flops, which we did as usual, but we wished we had bathrobes for a comfortable walk back to the room. That's the only thing that would have enhanced our experience, bathrobes."
