"We love this place. Friendly staff. Accommodating. And a rope swing! :)"
"I lap swim and can always get a lane. Water temp hovers around 82°, is clean and doesn't reek of chlorine, or dry my skin out. Nice hot showers after!"
"I am sad to say the pool I loved and attended my whole life is no longer the same. There are very caring people there however, the lifeguards find it acceptable to be on their phones way too often sit and talk to one another hardly paying any attention...the water is uncomfortable. Last time they said it was 77 but no matter how fast I swam I was shivering I literally couldn't do it. They complain about people complaining but it really is an issue...in speaking up to a lifeguard I received a very shocking reaction in which he was very rude and later was dishonest when confronted. I find the times teenage lifeguards are working to have better luck but as some one who once worked at the pool I'm embarrassed to see lifeguards there behave so poorly and allow the drains in the showers to clog constantly...they could use some help. Not bad if you're just stoping by but if you want to swim laps regularly expect cold water and immature unprofessional lifeguards. (At least currently this was not always my experience)"
"I was the Lifeguard instructor that came from Portland to certify the guards so you can open your pool and have a safe facility. The contract was clear that payment was to be made on the final day of class which covers the certification fee to the American Red Cross. Unfortunately the Stevenson Pool District has not made payment and has not given a timeline when full payment will be made. At this point no lifeguard are certified to guard that pool. I wish this was not the case, I have worked hard to open pools over the last two years and have never had a failure to pay until now. I will not be returning to instruct in Stevenson again and will recommending to other LGIT's do the same. As soon as payment is made I will finalize the certification of the guards who are not at fault here, it is the management that has let them down and the community, buy failing to pay a contract."
"This is a small town pool, and is very well maintained and warm. It is never crowded, and a very comfortable place to be for folks of all ages. You should really check it out. If you liked my review...show me by hitting the like button...Thanks!!!"
