Hoodsport 'N Dive a YSS Dive Company

"Consumer Beware !!! While I was pricing Drysuits, I called Hoodsport n' Dive to inquire about the cost of their merchandise, (Dry Suits). Their Sales staff was very rude and short with Me; (a Potential sale/customer). Figuring it was just his, "time of the month", I asked the prices, sizes & what brands were in their inventory, the sales staff stated the Dry Suit cost would be "$1800.--". Obviously contradicting himself because on their website the same Dry Suit is priced at "$1600.--". Clearly the Sales staff was aiming to benefit more than his wages, which would have yielded him an additional $200.--."

"I love this place, very friendly staff, they take you in like you’ve been family. Always made sure my sister and myself was always okay there to talk about anything and even customized my dry suit to make my suit fit because I’m a very small person. Probably the smallest one they’ve trained. I want to be able to go back out and get in their water. They always make time to meet you for whatever it is you need. They return calls right away. Miss you Darnel, Don and Jerry. Thank you all for putting up with my sister and myself while we stayed and trained. Fun times Oct. 2020"

"I was apart of Don’s Advanced Nitrox/Deco Procedures class, and I was very impressed. Not only with the class’s and Don’s skills as an instructor, but the dive center they have set up. For someone traveling from out of state, this is the perfect place. Transportation to and from the airport, lodging, meals, gear, shop, and dive site all for one fixed cost and one location. No hidden fees. Don was very professional and highly skilled. He took this class very seriously. He was very patient when he worked with my class. He has been teaching for many years and has probably seen just about every type of diver you can imagine. He’s not going to take your money and run. He’s going to give you the best training possible. Not something you can say about every dive center. The meals were excellent and always filling. The lodging was very comfortable. I was impressed by just how much thought was put into every detail of my stay. I didn’t want to leave! Darnell was also a delight to work with and to chat to. I have no complaints about anything. I won’t be going anywhere else for more training."

"Wonderful staff at this little shop located in such a beautiful waterfront town. Super helpful orienting us visitors and giving us new information on diving opportunities in the area. My only surprise was their high price for air fills! Can’t beat the convenience if you’re diving Sund Rock, but if you have a few tanks consider buying an air card. Also loved their logo design on the t-shirt I bought!"
