"We found some good stuff at great prices."
"I'm wearing shoes I got at Ross. I got the pullover that I have on there, as well. I shop there, and nearly no other physical store because their selection of bottom of the barrel clearance makes them worth a stop. Today, my experience was much different. I spoke with a very helpful and polite security woman, who told me the sticker that had been tampered with on an item I was interested would be honored. "Just tell them security said the tag looked original and to honor it!" was her response. Fifteen minutes later I'm in line and me tion what the nice security woman said. Well, the cashier AND manager didn't buy my story. I was treated like a liar and a crook. They said the figure was easily 14.99. Good luck. They even contradicted the security woman and made her look silly. What terrible folks to work with. I want to lodge a complaint with their head office, but thought I would mention here they treat both employees and customers like trash at this Ross. Ironically, the ones I frequent in Tacoma are much less filled with hateful and rude....people. They look bad compared to TACOMA."
"The selection being very small which after Christmas I understand but, only one cashier and no one helping is a joke. People standing in line for over 10 minutes waiting for the one cashier to help out everyone. What's worse is other employees walked by saw her struggling and did nothing to help or anything of that nature. I see bad store management and associates not willing to help is sad."
"I found some monster trucks my son doesn’t have and are a perfect Christmas gift, however the packaging is damaged, (see pictures for the condition of packaging) The cashier (who was very cheerful and sweet) offered to take off 10% but (the manager?I’m guessing) her name tag said Cindy, her wore glasses and was in her 50-60s and was white, said no as the toy isn’t damaged, just the packaging, which I understand but it’s a gift and my son is autistic he won’t understand why the packaging is damaged. It would have been .59 cents off. (As an HR Professional and Supervisor myself) You should have used this as a teachable coaching opportunity. You should have let the cashier know that you will honor it this time but before offering any future discounts always verify and ask management first. You obviously weren’t aware of a more professional way to handle when a cashier already offered a discount to a guest so I hope this feedback helps you Cindy. Guess I’ll stick to TJMaxx. Thanks Cindy!!!"
"This is a great store. Very much like Winners in Canada. I went there on the back to school week and there was a bit of a slim selection on kids footwear. I am looking forward to my next visit. What I saw was promising."
