"Saved me from living out of hotels and Air BnB's! I'm glad I found this place as it is so close to my work. I love telling everyone I know that I live here! When I first saw the Olume online I knew I had to live here. Seeing it in person sealed the deal for me. The extraordinary view of the city from the roof can be compared to the view of Athens from the Acropolis. I've taken a lot of photos and I haven't even been here a year! I also love having a washer/dryer, central heat/air and double pane windows. The leasing office having kind and relatable staff is also an added bonus. Living here has helped me recover and heal from my recent trauma. I cannot thank them enough. The Olume is perfect."

"This apartment complex is wonderful. The rent is competitive and much better than any of the other properties I toured. The apartments themselves are beautiful too, with smooth concrete floors, exposed concrete accent walls, and the perfect amount of natural wood. They are also designed in a way that lets a lot of light into the apartment. I could see the glass dividers being a privacy issue for some residents, but using window privacy decals would solve the issue for pretty cheap. I’m also a big fan of the soaker tub and the AC. The staff here are fantastic and take the time to get to know their residents. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly (Jose is great) and I always get a fast response when I reach out to the front office for any reason. The leasing agent Quinn and the community manager Miles are particularly thoughtful, kind, and professional. Sometimes it feels more like staying in a fancy hotel than an apartment complex because of the service. The location is interesting. The area itself isn’t the most walkable, but the easy access to public transit (the 14 bus and the Van Ness station in particular) makes up for it. It’s the tallest building in the general area, so the rooftop has amazing panoramic views of the city, and you can even see the bay. Some people have mentioned having trouble with PG&E in their reviews, but that’s a problem with PG&E and not Olume. Other things I really like about this place since moving here: - the fire pits on the rooftop - the package concierge for getting mail - the trash valet service (you just put it outside your door!) - the Zipcars available to residents in the garage - the building is ACTUALLY wired for fiber internet - you can Airbnb your place out, and Olume helps you with the logistics If you’re considering living here, I highly recommend it."

"Building is poorly soundproofed and the apartment layout is weird. The appliances break all the time. Beautiful view, but it won't be worth the rent without the first year rent concessions. And trash valet is fine, but who builds an apartment building with no trash chute? - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings UPDATE: never noticed before that the management responded. For anybody else reading this: the "amazing" trash valet system doesn't operate on weekends, so you have to lug your trash all the way to the ground floor. And noise complaints. Y'all want to talk about noise complaints? By all means. I did call in noise complaints against my neighbor. About 20 of them, all against the same person, because he refused to turn his music down the three times I asked him personally. Olume took no action against him, even after the *two separate times* he cornered me in the elevator and threatened violence against me. The building told me this resident had lived there for years, routinely threatened others, and that they couldn't do anything about it. He probably still lives there! Super cool."

"Quinn is one of the best lease agents that this building has ever had. Very competent, professional and responsive. He maintains his presence and is very approachable. Very kind and always greets us with a smile. Truly lucky to have him."

"The management is mean and unprofessional. The building is usually very smelly and not safe. I had packages stolen from the mailroom after they were delivered. The grills on the rooftop don't work most of the time and dirty. The same neighbors have parties every weekend and invite tons of people, which makes the rooftop inaccessible to the rest of the residents. They get pretty drunk and leave the rooftop full of vomit and trash everywhere. I sent emails to the management, but they never fixed anything. They shut off the water every other day and there’s no hot water most of the time. I would never recommend living here. I 100% recommend fox plaza or trinity over olume."
