"We had a very bad experience with an agent from Relisto and with the application process itself. Firstly, the agent, Jeanne: I told her I was thinking of applying and asked if the apartment was still available. She replied on Saturday at 4pm that she had "no applications in hand" so that I should apply. Within the hour, we had submitted our application. The next day, Sunday at 9am, we got the message that the owner had chosen another application. Clearly, she was lying on Saturday because as an owner myself, I know you don't go from 0 applications to owner approval in this timeframe. She wasted our money and our time. The application itself was so invasive. I get that we have to give our SSN, paystubs etc. The application also asked for our bank account number and it was a required field. This is NONE of your business and it is NOT required for you to figure out if we can pay for the apartment. Our credit check, paystubs and bank statements (with redacted account nb) should be enough for that."
