"Although the units are newly renovated, there’s a few small issues that make it a frustrating place to live. The garbage disposal has a tendency to unscrew a bit after every use which led to it leaking and ruining under sink cabinet. The admin didn’t check for any mold damage which is pretty dangerous for future tenants. Our AC didn’t work upon move in (in early summer) and took until August to get it fixed. The ceiling hatch to inspect AC was never properly closed so that’s always frustrating to see. Although this is also fault of SDGE, it was a 3 month debacle of figuring out why we were being extremely overcharged for electricity and we found out through having to independently call a SDGE technician that our meter was the only non-working meter on our floor. So it’s just hard to seek help from admin and for them to brush you off when you are already paying decent rent. The pipes to the shower head started leaking through the drywall during every shower and when we called in a work order, maintenance just inspected it and never came back on any plans to check the pipe/ replace drywall in case there’s mold. So again another unsafe environment for not just us but future tenants. Finally, there’s only 1 elevator per building and ours was constantly broken or shut down for maintenance, one time it was broken for almost a week. Luckily we do not have disabilities that could prevent us from using the stairs, but for any wheelchair users or people with mobility issues, they wouldn’t be able to reach their units on the 2nd or 3rd floors. Also the there’s 2 gates to get in/out of the 2nd floor parking, 5 months after move in, the fobs to 1 gate stopped opening it, which moved most people to use the main gate. Both of these gates also frequently break and need maintenance and when the main gate is broken, people have to park in 1st floor parking for 1-3 days until the gate is opened/fixed. The leasing office is so hard to get in touch with, I returned a call 2 minutes after they left a voicemail and I was sent to leave a message and they didn’t call me back till 2 days later. I wouldn’t want to pay as much as we are considering these small inconveniences that add up and when not addressed can actually become dangerous."
"If you ask the office staff including the assistant manager any question , the answer is always no or it is not allowed or we cant do anything about it. You know what i am talking about, it is the post covid business attitude , it is extreme at this office. In the last 3 months the office staff has changed 3 times, they keep firing and hiring people. You can't get a straight answer from anyone in the office. However, the area manager who was temporarily working in the office 2 months ago she was really great and on top of things, even the staff were behaving much better. Also the maintenance team are really good."
"This place is an okay apartment at best. They have no business calling themselves "luxury". The elevator is constantly down and now they're saying it'll take another month to fix on top of it already being down for a month. Absolutely ridiculous. I thought renting at a more expensive place would give me a more premium experience but that is not the case here. You would be better off renting somewhere else. I also want to echo other reviews regarding the delivery experience as well. When the staff leaves for the day, there is no one to let the delivery drivers in to deliver packages so they often get left out in the open where anyone can come and take them. There have been several occasions where my package has been left and presumably stolen. I now have to make sure my deliveries arrive at certain hours so I can be sure that I am either home to accept the delivery or the staff is around to let the drivers in. The staff seems to be trying their best so I can't fault them but there is a clear lack of trying from somewhere in the company. This place is NOT a luxury apartment. They are okay at best. I do not recommend living here with its current state."
"Leasing and maintenance team have been very courteous since I’ve moved in. I have a few incidents that were out of maintenance control and they fixed it as a quick as possible and updated me through the process. If I had questions or concerns they definitely attended to them and resolved it. 5/5 guys! Great job."
"Living here is very comfortable and beautiful. We have a family and we always feel safe and our neighbors are friendly. The front office, in particular Gustavo and maintenance team, in particular Al, are always ready to help. We love the urban feel of it here, with the trolley across the way. They have gathering areas with grills for cook outs but if you can't cook they have food trucks throughout the month. I love the free yoga by the pool every week! It's a great community, I highly recommend it."
