"Colonial way is the best apartment complex I have ever lived at. And its not because of the spaciousness, the beautiful view, or the AMAZING balcony. It's because of the property manager. The property manager is a beautiful mother of three children who is the most caring woman I have ever met. She is the sweetest woman in the world. I love her so much that I often just write her name on my check when I pay my rent. I even tip her often (GENEROUSLY.) She is WONDERFUL with children and is extremely respectful of tenant privacy. Colonial way is in a nice, quiet, and scenic neighborhood. It has very good parking and the property is always very clean. One time, I left my oven on accident while i went to the grocery store. When I came back home, I found the apartment manager standing outside my unit holding my dog and my baby child. She was charred and beaten, but not a scratch was left on my child/dog. When I asked her "why did you do this? for a tenant you dont even know?" she replied "its all in a days work when you're the best property manager ever. Thank you so much for living here." she then PAID FOR MY RENT for the next two months while i worked to replace all my burnt belongings. I WILL NEVER MOVE OUT OF COLONIAL WAY. I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN STOP LIVING HERE AND ABANDONING THE PROPERTY MANAGER"

"Absolutely loved living in these apartments. The layout is very spacious, plenty of room and well kept units. Anytime we had maintenance issues, it was handled either same day or next day with no problem. The property manager is wonderful, always helpful and friendly. The whole complex has been continuously upgraded for improvements. Also the pool is amazing when its hot out. I would not look anywhere else for a affordable, spacious, and nice place to live in San Jose."

"I've been living in these apartments for more than 4 years now. -- Management: The manager is very helpful and willing to listen to the problems that dwellers have. At the same time she can enforce the order so that apartments stay quiet and peaceful. She knows how to handle the balance between objective circumstances that tenants have and bad behavior. -- Payments: Rent payments may be made both by checks and online, there's a schedule feature that saves you from forgetting to write a check, very convenient. -- Maintenance: They have a business account in the AppFolio app that helps to schedule maintenance requests and the technicians are not putting it on the back burner. -- Amenities: The swimming pool is humble but is in a good shape and is in direct sunlight before 4 p.m. Water is clean and amount of chlorine is spot on. You can have your personal grill or use a public one. There's also a bicycle parking. -- Renovation: Units are being renovated regularly and presented to a customer in a pretty good condition. Recently the parking area was renovated with new asphalt and markup. Most units now have hard floors in the kitchen and living room which is an absolute plus. The bad thing is that community space is still occupied by the renovation supplies."
