Extended Stay America Premier Suites - San Jose - Airport

"The room was small but comfortable. The towels were really soft and clean and the bedding was spotless. Guests have to ask for dinnerware, cookware, coffee maker etc which they promptly brought to my room, just enough for one person. I had to ask for a bowl. The grab n go breakfast was watery coffee and packets of oatmeal and packaged blueberry muffins. No milk for the oatmeal, no butter for the muffins, they could do a lot more to make it nicer. The fitness center was minimal but adequate, there are 3-4 washers and dryers some of which accept cards which was handy. Everything was open 24 hours with a room key. They didn't have any laundry soap or supplies available for sale on site. Hugely inconvenient because I didn't want to buy a whole bottle of detergent to wash one load. On the down side, one guest was overheard asking for a bowl and was told there were none left. The person at the front desk didn't apologize or offer any suggestions. The walls are thin so if you get noisy neighbors, good luck. Fortunately most guests are biz travelers who are generally quiet and go to bed early. I would stay here again but I would shop around first in case there was something a little better at the same price."

"Absolutely horrible I was P.O I had booked through Expedia and couldn't get a refund I wanted to take my money and leave first night.room had no shower curtain was told to ask housekeeping in morning there were none available.first called front desk to ask for a coffee pot and coffee had to go downstairs They young lady working clearly did not want to be bothered she handed me just a coffee pot I asked for cups she asked for what I pointed to the coffe pot went back to room to my surprise no coffeee no creamer went back downstairs was told she didn't have any (never bothered to look by the way)day 2 there is no breakfast it's all packaged muffins, granola bars, packets of oatmeal nothing fresh no fruit no juice nothing. So don't go expecting breakfast except a prepackaged snack full of sugar. pool jacuzzi closed nothing mentioned online about it being closed the jacuzzi was one of the reasons along with breakfast were why I booked in the first place. I need my coffee tried again asked for coffee and creamers she handed me two coffee pots yes coffeee pots and cofee grounds yay and a filter again no sugar or creamer they are out so there goes my coffee maybe I'm supposed to rub these two together for magic to happen complimentary shampoo here I go walking downstairs again she handed me shampoo and dish soap I'm done why the heck I was handed dishwasher soap is beyond me. I was so angry I feel they do this on purpose I mean really it's not hard to do the simple things I waisted my money should have just stayed at ghetto motel 6 I mean it's literally what it felt like oh also people who stay here prop the doors open so the doors that keep hotel guest safe are not safe at all people hanging in the hallway guess the staff doesn't even bother to check premises throughout the night not very reassuring."

"A good example of "less is more." The hotel has everything that's important (great bed, quiet, excellent internet and TV, easy free parking) and none of the things I don't care about, and as a result they're about three times cheaper than, say, Embassy Suites by Marriott. Great location… near airport, easy access to the major Silicon Valley freeways."

"Employees were nice although the Housekeeper opened our door at 8am telling us to check out, because she was ready to clean even though check-out is at 11am. luckily we had the deadbolt on. "free breakfast" is coffee/tea/hot cocoa packets, oatmeal, and packaged muffins/bars. the whole place had an apartment vibe.. complete with the emergency exit door alarm sounding every 5 minutes in the lobby because one of the side doors was held open with a rock. Many broken/torn/missing window screens around the entire property. Low water pressure (not surprising) but the ventilation was good and the bathroom was spacious. Room was clean and only vaguely smelled like cigarettes. Fridge was clean. Requested silverware and it was brand new; room doesnt come stocked with anything, you have to request it. Room with Pull out sofa doesn't automatically come with bedding either. The regular bed was comfortable and only smelled like bleach a little bit."

"The place is a dive! I checked in & checked out an hour later after finding another hotel. The place smells, the elevators looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks & there was trash n the hallways. DEFINITELY will never book online with them again"
