"Best location ever lots of areas in walking distance. Great phenomenal breakfast. Really nice gym with a pretty alright view of the outside through a big window. The rooms were nice and comfy. There was strangely a paraphernalia device with white specks on it left under the couch cushion on top of the pullout bed which was worrying but they switched my room without hesitation. Probably a very rare occurrence but I was very surprised why it wasn't cleaned up."
"Overall it was not bad. Clean rooms, a working TV, clean bathroom and floors. The window is large but there was not really anything to see outside because of its location. Pretty comfortable bed, and the room was pretty quiet. There was a locked door on the opposite side of the bathroom door which is not something that I saw on every other hotel. Parking is very limited near the hotel, and the parking lot on the hotel costs forty dollars. There is also a fifty dollar security deposit, returned back to you in two to seven business days according to the hotel receptionist."
"After an arduous journey from North Carolina to California, I found myself at the Hyatt in downtown San Jose. This drive was a real odyssey for me, given my limited experience with long-distance driving. Arriving in a state of nerves and confusion, I was fortunate to meet Christian at the front desk. His approach was not just professional, but also filled with compassion and thoughtfulness. He patiently guided me through the check-in process, providing the reassurance I desperately needed in an unfamiliar environment. Christian's kindness extended beyond his duties. Despite the absence of a bellhop service, he helped with my heavy luggage and escorted me to my room, offering helpful insights on the hotel's amenities and engaging in friendly conversation. This personal attention significantly eased my anxiety and helped me relax. The Hyatt itself is an absolute jewel in downtown San Jose; Its welcoming ambience, tasteful decor, and elegant atmosphere definitely make it stand out. The room I am currently staying in is a haven of comfort and luxury, providing a perfect antidote to my serious travel fatigue... Pretty sure I was in the shower alone for at least an hour! To sum up, the Hyatt in downtown San Jose isn't just a place to stay; it's a remarkable experience. Christian's outstanding service and genuine care transformed an overwhelming day into one that ended with relaxation and a sense of ease. This hotel truly understands the art of hospitality!"
"Pros: Really nice lobby and building for the price! We were very excited pleasantly surprised when we first arrived. SUPER close to the SJ Civic Center, so we were able to just walk to our show. Parking garage available for a fee, which we didn't mind. Cons: AC wall system didn't work. We thought it was unplugged but it just straight up didn't work. It was 1am when we got back to the room, so we didn't want to deal with calling the front desk. The room stayed at a decent temp, so not a huge deal. Second, we originally booked a king bed room, and we got a room with two full beds, so me and my husband didn't get to sleep together. Again, we were in a hurry when getting there and didn't have time or mental bandwidth to bring it up, but it would've been nice if we would've gotten the room we originally booked. Overall, nice place and experience for the price and a quick 1 night stay. Staff is so nice, check out time is at 12pm which is nice and you don't see that much anymore! It was nice to sleep in. Cherry on top was the free breakfast from 6am-9am!"
"I had a great time visiting family. And staying here made it feel like home. I would come back again. Everything was great. One of my number 1 points for this place was the parking, I didn't have to worry about my car it was safe and clean. The parking cost is nothing. If anyone is looking for a great place to stay a couple nights and close to mostly everything I would recommend Hyatt! Thank you for the great service."
