"terrible experience living here. 1. Packages got stolen multiple times either in locker or at the front door. Frightened about the safety of 2. Elevator has been down for 1 month and NO one takes care of it. The maintenance is a nightmare 3. Continuous noise comes day and night from neighbors and from facilities that they don’t know how to fix which troubles lot. 4. Apparently the maintenance office and the leasing office don’t plan to make any change or improvements and just ignore all the feedback. I don’t know why I chose this terrible apartment …"

"Been living here 1 year and about to move out because of safety issues. Lots of cars got smashed and wheels got stolen, packages left at front door stolen. And this is only one side, on the other side, someone in the resident office doesn't have a very good attitude on the issue when our package got stolen, or be delivered to a wrong place. Some staff have a good attitude and are nice to us, but the safety issue still remains and is really frightening us."

"My husband and I have lived here for nearly 3 years and have generally enjoyed our stay here until some recent experiences have made us count down the days until we can leave. First, we recently witnessed someone steal a license plate off of a fellow resident's car in the GATED resident parking section. We called the police immediately and notified management who couldn't care less and did not even seem to be interested in notifying the tenant whose car it was of the events that had taken place. We had to notify the person ourselves. We've also had our car broken into, but I guess par for the course in the Bay Area. Second, you can never trust that you'll actually be able to obtain a package from the parcel room because the kiosks break CONSTANTLY. Kiosk A has broken 3 times in the last 3 months, leaving expensive perishable food items to go bad because no one is around to fix the thing when you come home from work to pick up your package. We've also been awoken at 3am by blaring building-wide fire alarms and have had elevators break more times than I can even count during our time here. Otherwise, the positives that have kept us living here for the past 3 years are the relatively affordable rent, amenities and spacious, quiet apartments. Maintenance requests are also handled generally quickly. I'm disappointed to not be able to give a better review, but as of late management really feels like it's asleep at the wheel."

"I lived here for over a year from 2020 to 2021. I moved back earlier this year since it’s still one of the best all around complexes in the area IMO. The facilities are still pretty nice, every building has their own pool, and for me as a dog owner you can’t beat the location with the park right there and an amazing dog owner community. I wish more dog owners picked up after their dogs but overall I’d say most dog owners are super responsible. The buildings are aging but still in good shape, and I have to give a huge shout out to the maintenance team who is always so helpful. Specifically Omar is amazing. Super respectful and considerate anytime he needs to do any work inside your apartment and always gets the job done which we really appreciate. Overall I’d recommend Riverview as a good place to live if you’re looking to live in north San Jose."

"I lived here for a year and overall it is a really nice community with great amenities. The pools are beautiful, as are the grounds. Decent gym, not too busy and close to a nice park and trails. Apartments themselves are nice, but the materials feel cheap, especially the flooring and carpet. I had a noisy upstairs neighbor, but not much was done about them. Elevators are slow and parking garage had a few break ins and thefts when I lived there."
