Kentwood Apartments

"Had a neighbor upstairs who never took her dogs to the restroom, notified front desk for 12 months, including photos of pee and fecal matter/staining to the apartment, got nothing. You pay for everyone's trash and there is persistent and constant dumping, skyrocketing the trash bill to 150-300/month on average, also the electric service doors had locks that weren't on them and had wires coming out, our electric bill for the last two months there were 500 and 900 dollars respectively with moderate electronic use (how the hell do you explain that one to PG&E) and yes, the washing and drying machines are not cared for and malfunctioning constantly, people using them for their personal business. The entire place smells like rotten garbage, and the pool is closed for 11 months out of the year and when it is open, is generally overrun with unadulterated children who vandalize it. The entire thing is a joke online, up for show, it's really a poorly managed place. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but I would easily rather live under the 2nd street bridge than ever set foot in this place again. Paper thin walls and single pane windows hide none if your meighbor's conversations and sound, terrible insulation, on move in date almost everything from the outlets, the floor, the fridge and the stove was damaged or non operable, we lost two fridges full of food the first week. This really is a bottom of the barrel last resort place..... I feel so bad for everyone who is stuck living here in a terrible rent cycle.. We paid over 2k a month for this place... RENTERS BEWARE. "They recently upped the cost of the Laundry room, but they have done nothing to fix the broken machines. There are 146 apartments in this community, and the majority of the washer and dryers are broken. If they're not completely broken, you run the risk of having the dryers burn and melt your clothing. Yet, they are building a new FITNESS center, instead of spending any money to repair the laundry facilities. Why? You can't increase the rent with a working laundry room, but you can raise the rent if you have a fitness center. There are a host of other problems here, too. Parking is a nightmare. Dog poop all over the sidewalks. Whenever I mention to a Napa neighbor where we live, they often let me know, "I used to buy drugs there!" Well guess what, pretty sure you still can if you go to the right apartments... I've lived in worse places, but not by much. I would not recommend moving here."

"If I could give these apartments less of a score, I would. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone due to the fact of poor management. They are all sweet and stuff during your application period, but good luck trying to get them to fix anything wrong with the apartment. I have had multiple issues and have notified them, but they have never sent anyone over to fix them. I wouldn't recommend taking the paid car port for space number 12. They always dump furniture and home appliances next to that space. Most of the time, it gets to the point where there's so much stuff you can't even open up your car door or park without having to move it out of the way. I've notified the office, and they seem to not care at all because they don't fixed the issue."

"We went to ask for information about the units for rent and Angela gave us a tour, the units look very clean and she explained everything, answered our questions and was very friendly at all times. Without a doubt she is very nice and very good attention."

"The office staff here at Kentwood is always so nice and accomadating. Whenever I have questions or concerns the staff always points me in the right direction each time. The maintenance staff is also very efficient and does great work to keep the apartment updated."
