Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa

"Me and my wife booked a weekend trip to Napa for a marriage seminar. When we arrived they put us in a room with two full beds. I specifically booked a room with a king bed and when I went down to the front desk they told me since I was here for a seminar I am considered part of a group so that’s the only room they have available. I booked through their website a king bed suite so I was very unhappy. Another thing was that when they charged me for the deposit they charged my card almost 600 dollars. And a week later the charge is still there and when I called them they said that’s the charge for the accommodations. I already paid for the room online so that makes no sense. My otherwise excellent stay was ruined by this incompetence. Please be better."

"When pulling up it doesn't look very nice, but once inside it looks like a nice Marriott. They should update the outside. Rooms were nice however my one complaint is the barn door for the bathroom. It does not stay closed as it's on a spring, and when trying to open it I caught my fingers multiple times. Bed was comfortable, pillows were flat like any hotel. Was here for a conference and definitely enjoyed our stay"

"I was hesitant to review them because I didn’t stay in a room. I attended a weekend marriage retreat that took place in one of their ball rooms. The facility from what I could see was very nice and clean. But their cafe closes at 11 am daily which is not very convenient. But it seemed very nice and if I were in the area I would likely stay here."

"Overall, it was a cool experience. We stayed at the Presidential Suit for 3 days, basically because we celebrated our wedding there. The room was nice and cozy. I have been to multiple Marriotts and I felt there were not as much details (or attention I would say) as I have experienced in other hotels from the same brand. The Marriott Bonvoy Lounge was pretty specious and food availability was great. 5 stars about that for sure. Now, regarding the wedding we used the Redwood Grove location. Simple decoration, which looked fantastic. The location, although surrounded by hotel rooms, was really cool, specially at night while illuminated. Menu was OK. The only details was about the service... We just had 2 waiters at our service and it felt like they were collapsing at times. After the event, we spent some time at the fire pit (very comfortable amenity) I think I would definitely repeat the experience there."

"We've stayed here many times and have always had a great experience. The service is always great, despite frequent lines at check-in. The reception staff works hard to move the line along while still being as personable as possible. The rooms are well-kept, clean, and very spacious. We have the Redwood Suite this visit and it's absolutely lovely and spacious. The location is minutes away from the best wineries and the best Brazilian Steakhouse in town. You can't go wrong staying at this Marriott in Napa."
