"The motel is not recommended. The rooms are small. our room was in a 24 hour parking lot. It was very loud in the evening. There are cockroaches running around both in the bedroom (in the bed) and in the bathroom. the service staff didn't take care of anything. I was wondering what exactly the job of the service staff is. During our accommodation the wifi did not work. they always said it would be repaired the following day. However, this never happened. The service staff lies and is not reliable. The location where the motel is located is not suitable for children. In the picture you can see the cockroaches."
"This is a small and pretty old looking hotel. The best thing about it is its location which is very close to Union Square, City Center, China Town and other downtown facilities. You can catch transit or Lyft to any other City attractions within reasonable time and cost. The hotel is at the very lowest budget and you must not expect any luxuries here. You get what you pay for. However, if you are looking for a decent place at a suitable location, then this is for you. It offers clean beds and washrooms and a free breakfast which is a big plus in this price. The menu is not lavish but enough to charge you for the day. Wifi sucks and needs improvement. overall, a decent place. The staff is also very nice and courteous."
"The hotel was chosen based on its proximity to the city center and the availability of parking. Located in an old historical building, hence the nuances. Historic elevator! Tight, sound-proof rooms with perfect audibility of neighbors. Cleanliness is so-so, it seems clean, but with a touch of deep fatigue + furniture from a past era is completely immersed in the atmosphere of the century before last) Homeless people live under the windows with the corresponding surroundings and screams in the evening. Breakfast is useless: bagels, coffee, yes, that's all...Parking is offered in a closed garage 2 blocks from the hotel. Price = 30 dollars/night. Garage employees park. Have your hotel voucher with you, otherwise the price will be $40! Overall it's not bad for Frisco, especially at this price!"
"4/5 Pleasing I'm not sure what these other reviewers are expecting, rule of thumb, you get what you pay for. I didn't read the reviews till after I booked a room here and was expecting the worst! Honestly, everything was as described in the listing, I can't speak on the breakfast because I slept in. My husband and I had the King room, room 408, and it was cute. It had a fridge, microwave and tiny coffee maker. Note, if you opt to use the coffee maker bring bottled water, I had to use tap water and it wasn't great. The room was as clean as I expected a building to be that was built in 1910. Our bed and bathroom were clean, the only thing I noticed was a previous guest had spilt something in the freezer and it was left to fester. There isn't AC but we had a ceiling fan which was better than nothing and with the bathroom and bedroom windows open it was comfy. Our room looked out onto the alley which I didn't mind, we were only staying one night. We left and came back about 10ish and upon returning we noticed that the bathroom ceiling was leaking from the floor above and it was a pretty significant leak considering there was a small but steady flow of water coming down the wall and it was getting trapped behind the paint. We told the front desk right away and he came right up and took pics of it to send to his manager but that was all. It was fairly quiet through the night and I probably stay here again. Parking is about 2 blocks away. The elevator is epic & tiny. Conveniently located."
"Great location in the heart of the City. Basic rooms, but you get quite a bit for a low price: microwave, mini fridge, good TV/cable, your own private bathroom (not shared like a lot of other older hotels in the area). The rooms and the hotel are clean. My only cons are: 1) Very thin walls. I stayed in room 206 which is close to the VERY noisy old elevator and could hear every slam and thud. It was pretty noisy honestly. 2)The bed is very stiff, not very comfortable. Overall, it's a great value."
