The Senator Hotel

"This is a place for formerly homeless people. As I worked here for about a year to help the people get connected to resources. I love the resident here. They are all amazing people each and everyone. The company that own this building is a different story. I learned alot about non profits and how shady people can be. During the first 90 days of my time here I had a amazing team lead. So I really didn't care about the manager never being there. Once the lead left the. I was the only one there. I was pretty much running the services side here. The residents understood that I was doing 4 peoples jobs and worked with me and helped out where they could. It was about 4 months later when I finally hired someone to take the lead. The manager and I didn't see eye to eye. So I was left in a position to either transfer or start looking for a new job. So I transfered to another site."
