Kasa The Addison San Francisco

"Pros: Located in the best area, near a beautiful park. It’s also close from Union Street and Fillmore Street, where there’s amazing restaurants and bars, many of which are appropriate for business meetings or special night out. The place itself has everything needed for a long term trip (kitchenette, washing machine, mini desk). Besides the bed, everything felt new and of good quality. I love the backyard with some nice patio furniture. I was often going there to work or eat. You can also take out the trash in this area so that they don’t accumulate in your small space. Cons: I was in a room on the second floor facing the street. With the blinds open, there is almost no privacy. Fortunately, it’s a calm and residential street and the blinds are opaque. The bed is acceptable but not the most comfortable. It felt like there was a whole in the middle—perhaps it’s too old. The shower is directly in the bathroom, which is weird. I had to buy a small squeegee to dry the floor after each shower. The walls are not well isolated. You can hear very well when people walk in the corridor. Fortunately, it was very calm in the building. Overall I had a nice stay and I would come back here next time. I was with my partner the first few days and alone after. The space is appropriate for both."

"Kasa is... fine. The room was clean and equipped with all the basics needed. The location is quite convenient. But look a bit closer and this place has numerous flaws. Most egregious: the paper-thin walls. Have fun listening to your neighbours' conversations! Appliances are bargain basement, though actual fittings like the kitchen sink and bathroom are decent. There were some small things in the room that also suggested a lack of attention to detail: a bedside lamp with a daylight bulb fitted; complimentary shortbread two months beyond its use-by date; and probably some others that I can't remember."

"I had a 5 star experience at my stay at the Kasa The Addison San Francisco! Being a non native to the Bay Area I feel that I got the true San Francisco experience living here! The building is very clean, quiet, and updated. The neighborhood is so quaint, walkable, and super close to many great areas of the city. The landlord here is extremely responsive and attentive! Loved my time here :)"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The neighborhood seemed to feel very safe and the room was clean upon arrival. There is in unit washer and drying which is very convenient and the buses ran frequently so my commute was smooth. The people in charge here were very responsive and I also appreciated the package room. 5/5 would recommend."

"I enjoyed my stay here for the duration of my travel contract. It was conveniently located, clean, and modern! This building attracts many young professionals, making for a great living environment. I appreciated laundry being included and a package room to keep my things safe. The landlord and finance assistant were responsive and helpful. I would love to revisit the Addison in the future."
