"Situated near Van Ness and Lombard La Casa Inn is well located near local shops, restaurants, Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. The rooms have all been renovated; they're clean and modern with all of the amenities you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Would NOT recommend to anyone. Booked this room before driving 7 hours because they promised an early check in. (We had to be at a wedding by 3, they promised to get us in by 12:30) we got there at 12 and they said nope no check in at all until 3. Mind you it was a Wednesday so it was not a busy weekend. (3 cars parked outside) I then said well it is what it is but I need to find somewhere else. The guy agreed that he would cancel us at no charge since we got a broken promise from someone (he says it wasn’t him and didn’t know who booked us over the phone) so we left. Next day I see a charge on my bank so I then call him and he says take it up with my bank. So I did so. My bank calls them and he proceeds to tell them that I was a no show and he never seen us before so he had to charge us. Long story short I had the charge reversed. Needless to say I will never book at this place that is full of LYING and BROKEN PROMISES. Hopefully this saves at least one other person from the headache."

"Nice front desk person. Clean room. Elevator if needed. They called to mention something was left in the safe. Great deal and looks like the remodel wasn't too long ago. Only complaint is the fridge and water pipes made noise, if you're a light sleeper maybe unplug fridge"

"this hotel was such an excellent experience! there was very good and available parking and the front desk made the process of checking in/out VERY easy. the rooms are also very cleaned and organized; it made me question how it’s a 2 star hotel. my boyfriend and i especially were surprised by the shower (and the bathroom in general). the microwave and mini fridge were very useful and so were the provided shower soaps + hand soap + lotion. i would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a decently-priced hotel in SF."
