"WORST MOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! The Indian guy working the front desk with the mustache is so rude. He let out a huge belch as I was handing him my credit card and after I told him that was rude he started raising his voice and we began to argue. He told me to leave but wouldn't give me back my credit card. I had to repeatedly ask for it before he gave it back to me. I never stayed at the motel but still had to pay for the night since it was non-refundable."
"Just got back from 6 nights staying here . The place is dated . But clean lovely clean sheets every day if required and as many towels as you want .And every thing worked .....hairdryer , fridge, microwave, coffee maker , TV , Air conditioning and heating. Kumar in the lobby was really helpful calls taxis etc . There isn't a vending machine but Walgreens is literally 1 minute away. We had a leaky shower repaired within 24 hours."
"Never book direct with Wyndham. I paid $195 over the phone with Wyndham. The online rate was $145 at Priceline and other. Wyndham would not comply with the best rate policy I will never stay at a Wyndham hotel again The hotel at Fisherman’s was fantastic and the owners deserve a better backing. I was very satisfied with my stay, yet Wyndham does them no justice."
"This place has two redeeming qualities: a great location off of Columbus Ave. and a reasonably low price - by San Francisco standards. But it's run down and badly in need of renovation. The bathroom door in our room looked like it had been bashed in, and don't even try to take a shower in the late morning - unless you like cold showers. Breakfast (Orange juice, coffee and danish) in the main office was OK."
"My support person and I stayed here for a week so I could have top surgery at a local hospital and be local during my recovery. This hotel was everything we needed for an awesome price. The bedding was fresh every day with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. Comfortable enough for me to rest wonderfully after surgery! Bathroom had a large tub pan shower with great water pressure. All the essentials you'd need in a hotel: desk, hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, etc. Free breakfast offered was light consisting of prepacked danishes, juice, nature valley bars and various teas and coffees. This is definitely an older SF building but well maintained for its age. Owner obviously lives on site and is available anytime of day for anything, super friendly and always saying hello Walgreens right across the street made late night snacks easy and there's a Safeway 0.3 blocks away. So many cafes within a few blocks too. So close to the wharf too! Relatively quiet area but you do hear some traffic. Parking is available for a small daily fee. I felt safe walking by myself around at night."
