"The Grant is one of San Francisco,s 'Grand Old Ladies' hotels. Offering a great location near China Town and directly on the cable car line to fisherman,s wharf. The rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced considering the location. Plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Comfy beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, grab and go breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend staying here. Bart station was a 15min walk away, cable car, bus and train available there. Or take the cable car to Fisherman's wharf. Plenty to see and do."

"Good hotel and a very good location. Bed is good, bit small for the persons. Breakfast is small but good. Coffee is at the lobby and perfect, also tea included. Around the corner cable car stop all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. Public parking across the hotel for 35 dollar per day. Lotts of restaurants nearby. Rooms are a bid noisy."

"We reached the hotel late at night and just a note that the road from the BART station to the hotel is pretty steep, you will feel quite dead if you are dragging up a heavy luggage like what we did. I’m glad the room is clean, spacious and sufficient for our needs. I like how they serve free coffee and tea all day and there is also ice machine and water dispenser free to use. Not to mention, the free pastries and cake they serve for breakfast was great too! The staff are really friendly and helpful people."
