"These reviews are not for Century Apartments. They are reviews from Mendenwood apts. Mendenwood was the complex for before Century for 55plus seniors. Century bought them, all the seniors had to leave and they then renovated and the rent now is twice the amount for rent. They are no longer 55plus units...which I think Century will regret not keeping the 55plus community for this location. This should have been included in the sale of this property to keep it a senior 55plus community. I don't think you're going to have very much luck keeping these apartments rented. Its going to become just like any other complex here in the city...full of crime and knuckleheads. You should have kept it 55plus!!!!"

"The Star of this complex is Mrs. Lisa Anderson! A wonderful person with great talent and knowledge, it is her compassion that so greatly represents the Family that built and owns Mendenwood. I really liked this complex and were the upper units more readily accessible, I'd be camped out in the parking lots awaiting an availability! If you are searching for a 'Home' complex, please visit Ms. Lisa at Mendenwood first!"

"From the first time we met Lisa, she was friendly and caring with a great personality. We've never been to her office when she didn't have a smile on her face. Lisa is there to answer questions or assist in a problem and has made us feel like this is home. Both moving to Mendenwood and meeting Lisa has been a blessing!"

"This is a great location. They are old, but some improvements are being made. I do not feel like the owners and management company care about the tenants. The current manager is great. She works hard and it's very concerned about all who call this place home Her husband does maintenance. He is hard working and industrious. Most of my immediate neighbors are good people and friendly. I really enjoy living here and highly recommend it. The pool was totally redone last year. There is an age minimum, 55. Maybe the best thing about living here is the fact the Gibson's Donuts it right across the street."

"The manager, Mrs. Lisa, is such a great property manager! We couldn’t ask for a better manager at Mendenwood Apartments for our mother! She is a very caring lady with the biggest heart. All of the residents feel comfortable talking to Mrs. Lisa, and enjoy her fun loving attitude. Everyone says she has the patience of a saint and is so easy to get along with. We love our mother’s apartment community, and the best apartment manager we have ever had the pleasure to work with. We are Blessed beyond measure!"
