"This is an assisted living facility. The buildings are older looking in appearance, but the public areas seems to be clean and they have occasional entertainment. The staff that I saw were friendly. I don't know what The District is. The name of the place that I visited was Royal Retreat."

"If I could give this apartment 0 star, I would. I've had two stolen cars while staying in this complex. The community is completely unsafe, there is always loud noises/gun shots. The management in the office does not care about the crime in the apartments. When we told the front office we had two cars stolen here within 3 weeks the manager's exact words was "Crime is happening everywhere". I completely understand crime is happening everywhere, but not trying to be sympathetic to your residents is insane! When we first moved one of the catches was they have security and the gate is always closed....A LIE. Security leaves sometimes before 10pm or they're sleep in the car. The morning 4 cars got stolen out the apartment they had the gate closed after we did police reports, the gate has not been closed since and someone's car was stolen the next morning. I have been trying to get in touch with corporate management for over two weeks, the regional manager keeps dodging my calls and won't call me back. You pay for trash to be picked up, trash was not picked up all week last week and it smelled completely bad. Residents took it into their own hands and walked to the trash to throw the trash away because the smell was so bad. Why make us pay for something you're not going to make sure is properly done. I would not recommend The District, The Vale, The Local, or The Stella Apartments, they're all ran by the same management. You will be extremely disappointed living here or any of the apartments listed above."

"I honestly do not recommend these apartments, Looks good on the outside but the management is terrible and a group of lazy , petty women , the cameras don’t work , the gate won’t close , shoot outs every other day & the pools are never clean & they turn your water off Mon-Wen 9am-1pm & on top of that your paying damnnear $1000 just to get your car stolen & the security don’t harass nobody but the Residents but ain’t caught the people that’s been stealing cars over here & apartment office wont do a thing about it but rising the rent. They hire anybody to be a maintenance men they have to go over each others work just because another worker didn’t do it right then it can take up to 3 weeks for somebody to come check your amenities or anything. They want the property to LOOK so professional but don’t actually do the work to MAKE The District what it could be . These Apartments Aren’t worth its & i promise you’ll regret ever moving here !"
