Travelodge by Wyndham - Memphis Airport

"Not a very good motel. Bed was like sleeping on brick. Checked in with a wheelchair person reservation, and got a room clear on the back side of the building, almost as far from the entrance as they could possibly have put us! The place is kind of run down. Not exactly dirty, but that unclean feeling you get when things are worn out."

"Full of deprived people. Smells of cigarette and pot. Strange activities in the hotel... we cancelled for they could not provide a decent room did not reimbursed. Carpet torn in room. Dirty and really not safe at all. Scary screaming and loud noise."

"Parking lot has broke down vehicles. Stray cats running around. Parking lot is always full, hard to find a spot. The pics on the website are def not what it looks like now. Very ran down. The bar area is not open, no amenities, no breakfast or coffee. The paint in the rooms were all chipped up, and in the bathroom the paint was very mismatched. Very old nasty couches in the room, the desk had no chair, hard to get ready in the mirror, you have to stand the whole time. The place seemed very unsafe. Loud people in the halls all hours of the night screaming, I was about 10 rooms from the elevator and you could hear the dinging of the elevator all night long. My fault for not reading the reviews."

"Booked this hotel because it is close to the airport and we had an early flight. We dropped our bags off before check in and just the lobby gave us a bad feeling. We asked to see the room before checking in. The hallways are poorly lit and smell like cigarettes and mildew. The room was atrocious. It looks like the carpets have never been shampooed or vacuumed, nasty sticky black stains everywhere and all over the walls and surfaces of the room. The bathroom was okay, but the paint was peeling off everywhere. I saw what appeared to be a dead bed bug on the carpet next to the bed. We noped out of there so hard and the only redeeming quality of this entire place was that the woman at the front desk kindly refunded us without any difficulty. DO NOT STAY at this hotel. They don’t offer an airport shuttle, it’s in an unsafe area and the cheap price is simply not worth bed bugs or staying with all of the unsavory characters we saw in the halls. Wyndham should be ashamed to call this a hotel. I’d rather camp in a tent than stay one night there."

"When arriving the woman in the picture below checked my ID and gave us our key. My cousin and I went up to the room provided and seen the absolute worst room I ever seen. Beds wasn’t up to standard and bathroom was covered in nasty film. Went downstairs to speak to the woman below and all we got was a nasty attitude. She laughed and gave us another room. We thought it was a done deal and went on about our night. A hour goes by and we wake up itching. Turned on the lights and IT WAS BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!! I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. The woman below was rude, bald, and honestly a waste of an employee. Y’all need to fire her for misconduct. I got my refund, along with other things."
