"Whoever the lady that was in the office today was very rude and unprofessional. She answered the company phone by saying hello no introduction or anything first off. Secondly she put me on hold while she took a personal phone call and proceeded to hang up on me and when I called back she did not answer. Hire better people workers please."
"Definitely wouldn't recommend! A lot of break ins from the cars to the apartments they have security but they never seem to be doing their job.. big apartments with one security that sleeps most of the time!! Roaches and rats are terrible.. rats make big holes in the walls and maintenance just needs to be fired they never come when called to fixed anything! Definitely wouldn't recommend kids living here especially wid so many rats the apartments are contaminated basically! Outside looks ok but the insides maintenance issues are terrible! Worst apartments I've ever lived in!"
"They had me to pay off a judgement to get an apartment only to still deny me. They were very unprofessional and gave me the run around during the entire process. I tried speaking to the manager but she never responded."
"From a distance, the place looks nice and the grounds are well kept. Of course, to an untrained eye, one will hardly notice any of the hidden problems and issues that are going on here, at least not at first. But if one dares to move into these apartments, all the problems will quickly become obvious. To illustrate, when one first does a walk through for a general pre move inspection, they may not notice that the flooring is going to become squeaky because there is brand new carpet and padding laid down and, of course, there's no heavy furniture is on the floor yet. But right after a move in, the flooring will begin to squeak, on day one, and then it just gets worse over time. In fact, the flooring here squeaks, vibrates, shakes, sags, and feels just like a sponge. The furniture and fixtures bounce around when walking across these floors. These apartments need to be inspected for structural damage by a certified structural engineer, and absolutely no one should ever be allowed to move into these apartments until all the repairs are complete, or perhaps it should just be demolished, especially since the railroad tracks are right next to this property and the train vibrations are nearly constant and the horn blasts go straight through the apartment walls both day and night. Just stay clear of this place, it's not any better off than all of those other blighted properties surrounding this neighborhood. The only redemption, here, is the quality of the residents at College Park, who are seemingly warm and friendly and welcoming, and they truly deserve far better treatment than this. Unfortunately, many of them are also a captive audience, moved to wherever the powers that be wants them to go; many residents so impoverished that they couldn't move away from here without assistance anyway."
"I absolutely HATED living in these apartments!! The first issue I encountered was that the maintenance deapartment responded very slowly when needed to get things done. Let's just say I moved in the apartment in June, I called in a complaint because the dryer did no heat at all! I called and called and called and didn't receive a new dryer until December. When I got the new dryer the next week or two the dryer went out! I called management to Inform them that the dryer was not working and told them that it seem as if the wires had burnt out on the back of the dryer. The management told me that they would order me a new dryer but it took another 2 months receive the new dryer. So in all over half of my 12 months of living here, 8 of the months was spent going back and forth to the laundry mat & while still paying full rent! Upon moving out and trying to get my refund deposit the apartments management told me that it would take 60-90 days upon move out to receive my deposit. So I'm waiting and waiting and still waiting, I have not receive my deposit! It has benn 90 days by now. I call management to let them know that I haven't receive my deposit they told me that the check was cashed 1 month after move out. I'm thinking why would I keep calling about my money if I already cashed the check?! I asked where did they send the check and they were unable to tell me so for my understanding they sent my money to anywhere they felt! Now I have to wait and let the bank investigate the situation! My total experience living here was horrible. There were a lot of break ins. Police was there every single day. I would not recommend and single woman to live in these apartments NEVER !"
