"Great location but everything else was extremely poor. I understand it is a Red Roof Inn and they don't truly have a reputation of being a nice place to stay but even at that the room was disgusting there are ZERO amenities and I mean even as simple as an iron! Good price but definitely not worth it. I would strongly not recommend this hotel if you plan on staying in Memphis"

"Room has no hot water been that way for a week now. Nothing was done I’ve made a complaint with the city and BBB. Front desk acts as if you don’t know what you’re reporting and can’t ask for a manager because they speak no English. Have to go to the desk every night after work just to ask for towels. Notices left saying room has been cleaned not a appliance or furniture been touched!"

"We stayed here one night after a very long drive (17 hours). When we first got here at 3 am we checked in got to our room to find out the heater wasn’t working. It wouldn’t turn on. We went directly to sleep since we were extremely exhausted just to get woken up by other guests working on their car in the parking lot. After we got up and started to pack up to leave to hit the road again we noticed how bad the conditions of the room were. All the walls were damaged and looked like previous guest hosted wrestling matching in the room. The room had a foul smell. The room had a loose door handle with a hair tie on it. The bathroom had what appeared to be roach feces all over the place. This was by far the nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen and was absolutely not cleaned very well. We mentioned all of this to the front desk and and asked to speak to a manger but one wasn’t on site at the time. They asked for my name and phone number and said they would call me. My stay was December 11-12. It’s been over 2 weeks and I still haven’t received a call back. This hotel should be shut down and condemned. It boggles my mind how this location is open. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I’m going to call corporate and notify them of the conditions and my experience with this location. If they have no solution I’ll have no choice but to dispute the charge with me credit card company."

"We came in the middle of the night after a long trip hoping to find somewhere to rest for a few hours, the person in the front desk was extremely rude and wanted to charge 120$ for the night (we arrived almost at 3am and we were going to check out at 10am) also he wanted to charge 100$ deposit. We told him that this “hotel” was advertising a 60$ rate for the night to what he answered it was only if you take a reservation for a week! A week! Just none-sense. We literally crossed the street and found a room for 50$ for the night, no deposit and taking us in right away. Believe the negatives reviews, go somewhere else. Update: based on what of management decided to respond to my review, let me provide more details reader, in case you are still hesitant and they created some sorts of doubt given their response. Let me clarify, we were NOT looking for a motel to just stay two hours and go, we were looking for an hotel or inn were we could stay for a few hours since we were on the road and we needed to continue our travels, (which I bet by the location of this place, you might be in this situation as well). To me, it’s ridiculous to pay 120$ rate+100$ deposit (which I’ve never heard of such deposit in any hotel included waaay better quality than this one) but anyways, ridiculous still when you can drive 30 more minutes go into the city and find a Hilton or whatever well known brand for 110$ or 120$ for the night with NO DEPOSIT. We are taking about better quality of everything for the same price. As I mentioned before, we crossed the street, found a better place for a cheaper price, breakfast included and we were able to continue our journey by 9am later that day (remember we arrived at 3:30 am so we basically took a nap and left). Thank your reading this and again, please, stay somewhere else (like ANYWHERE else)."

"The property is run down and dirty. Staff was curt. First room reeked of stale smoke and had no linens. Second room was no better. Carpet, walls, curtains, and furniture have mysterious stains. Very disappointed. Other Red Roof locations have been much better maintained. Avoid this location!"
