"I’d rate it a zero if I could. I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels, and as far as cleanliness and maintenance are concerned - easily the worst. The first room I was in in, the heater quit about 1 minute after I turned it on (it was about 27* that night). It had blown a breaker (I’m an Electrician- I know). I called the front desk, 10 minutes later, someone came up. Great. > -The second room smelled worse of smoke than the first. -There were stains on the carpet, chairs and towels. (See pictures) -The heat lamp in the bathroom (granted a feature not all hotels have, including this one...) was missing a dial. When I used pliers to grip and turn it on, the timer didn’t work. -There was candy and hair under the foot of the bed. -The shower was either frigid or scalding - and I like a hot shower, but that literally was hot enough to physically cause burns -And the heat never even took the chill off the room.. I travel with a fleece blanket, thankfully, to try and stay warm, but ended up “sleeping” in my hoodie, coat, and jeans. Don’t let the “free breakfast” fool you. It was coffee and cereal that even looked stale. I will absolutely NOT be staying again, and would NOT recommend this, or any Knights Inn to anyone. And when this review receives a comment from the property that “We are sorry that you experienced problem(sic) , however we will address your concern and try our best to improve our services,” you can take that sorry and shove it. Sorry doesn’t excuse THAT."
"I have traveled many places, including developing countries, but this hotel takes the cake as the most disgusting hotel I have ever been inside in my life. I was persuaded by the reviews saying that the negative reviews were from people who expected too much for a cheap hotel. Honestly, all I wanted was a clean place to sleep since my husband and I had been driving for 12hours. I didn’t need it to be new, nice, or modern. Just CLEAN. As we walked up the stairs to the second floor there were brown liquid stains running down the walls. There were blood and other fluid stains on the mattress, holes in the mattress, black mold in the shower/bathroom, filth on the walls, and more mold on the ceiling. It looked like a horror movie. I almost cried because I didn’t want to sleep here, but the other hotels in the area were booked and we were too deliriously tired to drive much further. The only positive thing I can say is that we checked the mattress for bedbugs and didn’t see any signs of that."
"Not what I thought pics do the rooms no justice. The area was pretty good quite only heard 2 planes fly over but wasn't bad where I couldn't sleep. Bed was comfortable BUT there was some type of white droppings on the floor, the area around the safe hadn't been vacuumed, 2 of the 5 lamps didn't work and the ones that did didn't illuminate the room well and the lampshades were stained/dirty. There was mold in the bathroom, the faucet/showerhead has a bad drip, the tub looked uncleaned so I put a towel in just to shower. The water never got hot in the shower or the sink. You get what you pay for in this establishment. I don't think I'll stay again"
"Though they say breakfast is included in the package, all they give is coffee, cornflakes and some sugary roles. Bread would have been much better option. For $70 a day the linens are dirty. We had to ask for a different bedspread and pillowcase the day we reached, the different pillow cover also had a big black blotch. Room doesn't have a iron or a coffee machine. WiFi is included but has no connectivity. We have been using up our 4g. We are hurricane Irma evacuees from Miami and staying here till Tuesday as we have no other choice as this is the only hotel that had vacancy. While I have heard that most of the hotels have been not charging pet fee we have been charged $50 for our cat."
"The room had the basics and the front desk help wasn't really anything to write home about. Other than that it seemed like it had been awhile sense anyone had really made an effort to clean the room. There was obvious dirt on the carpet which hadn't been vacuumed in some time and the shower... well ill just say this i scrubbed the tube out before I let my fiance or I shower. On a side note the towels where clean but the pillows had to be the worse I've ever seen. (Completely flat - so bring your own.) I wouldn't recommend this place but it's right next to the greyhound station so the convenience was hard to beat with needing to walk with our luggage. So all and all it won't kill you to stay here but if your not strapped for cash, and can afford a cab, you might want to try another hotel."
