"Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere! This is nothing like the experience you would expect from a Hilton property. The customer service at check-in was horrible, the hotel was dirty, the fitness center is the size of a closet, and mostly out of service. The battery on my door lock died, and it took almost 2 hours sitting in the lobby while the manager on duty could formulate a plan, then was telling me I was impatient. The hotel feels run down, and dated. There was noise all night with doors slamming. It's right by a train track that was loud with the whistle as well. I would never recommend this hotel, and regret not reading the reviews before I booked it. I'm normally a Hilton properties supporter and blindly trusted this. Don't make the same mistake."
"DO NOT STAY HERE!! There was a large group of us that stayed at this hotel for two nights. In two nights there were a total of 12 vehicles, broken into. Four of those vehicles belonging to people in our group and one family in our group had their car stolen. Some of the cars were parked out front some were on the side, it didn’t seem to matter where the cars were parked. They say they have “security.” ABSOLUTELY do not stay here!!! This is an ongoing issue!!"
"I stayed here for one night while driving through Memphis on Jan 24, 2024. I've stayed at other Hamptons and thought they were solid places to stay, but this one seemed to be outdated and a bit run down. The thermostat didn't work in the first room I got, so they quickly gave me a new room - I appreciated how quickly that was handled. However, the hot water never worked in my new room - cold showers and cold water only to wash hands and face. The beds were not comfortable and the thermostat kept shutting on and off throughout the night - even though it was set to auto run the fan sound. It was good for a quick overnight stay since I couldn't find anywhere else, but I think it's overpriced and it's definitely below the standard of other Hampton Inns that I've stayed at for a similar price."
"Checked in on a Sunday afternoon between 2-3a 6 cars were broken into in the back of hotel. Monday get in from work and again 2:30-3a car alarms going off. Notify front desk they claim they couldn’t hear any alarm. I told them I’m watching the thefts try to pull off in a truck that’s parked beside the office. So another 6 cars broken into on the second night. Security was not present either night as the clerk said. How can I hear car alarms on the top floor and almost at the back of hotel but clerk on the other side of the wall of the truck being burglarized. Loud music playing late both nights. Asked for towels never got them. I have never stayed at a Hilton property and had this kind of experience. Had to check out and move to another hotel as none of our large group felt safe anymore."
"Long drive thru ice and snow, tired wanted a nice quiet night...woke up to room phone ringing at 4 am... "good morning, you will need to come down to the front desk , your car was broken into" so no its not a good morning. Should have slept in the car so I could properly greet my guest. Of this whole city has that big of a problem, address it and do something. More security needed at the hotel."
