Red Roof Inn Memphis - Airport

"This place is an utter embarrassment to the Red Roof Inn name and has no business being open without a serious overhaul. First of all, the front desk check-in took forever, so long in fact I'm convinced the desk clerk was looking for a reason to deny me the room. Then I get to the room and it is a horror show. The beds were infested with bedbugs, a chunk was missing out of the bottom of the bathroom door, the ceiling was damaged, the microwave was barely functioning with a damaged time display, and to top everything off, neighboring guests were allowed to party right outside my door until 4 AM with nobody saying anything. I had to stick my head out and ask them to keep it down so I could get some sleep. This place might have cheap rates, but now I know why. If you're looking for a hotel or motel to stay in, I suggest you steer well clear of this one."

"If I could give no stars I would. The room was gross the walls and stuff were dirty for when we got there. We had to stay there for a while and we had a pet and they allowed pets. The door lock was broken the AC was broken, had no fire alarm, bathroom door would not shut and the bottom of it was totally ripped off, had a hole in the wall. The front desk and cleaning people were rude. It's also infested in roaches. They have a roach dude that comes there but his stuff does not work and anything you use will not work either because it is so infested. Anytime they do maintenance in your room you will be asked to leave the room for the day and given another room but you won't get that room for the day. You will be asked to leave that room no matter what time in the morning they get finished with their stuff. We have been asked to move rooms at 7:00 in the morning after having to leave the other room and get things together 12:00 or 1:00 at night because of the AC went out. The lights continuously go off because of storms. the lights also go off in your room continuously and no one knows how to work the breaker other than the maintenance man and he won't be able to make it to your room too early in the morning so basically either move room or just deal with the heat. They will always tell you they don't have another room available when they do and if they do move you to a new room for the night they don't want it to be permanently and they will come wake you up at the crack of dawn. There are continuous fights in the parking lot, drug activity AKA not a little bit of weed like actual hard drugs being offered to children. It's just horrible all the way around and if you can afford to stay somewhere else do yourself a favor and choose another hotel. You will not enjoy yourself here, your children will not enjoy themselves here, and you will possibly end up being injured or robbed."

"Very nasty, disgusting, staff very rude dispectful. Would not recommend it at all. I will never stay there again. Very noisy and nasty inside and out. Would have gave ZERO stars if I could. Room was not cleaned at all. Bathroom has poop all over the walls, dogs chewed Bathroom door up, screws exposed on door and bed had not been changed had food all over bottom sheets. Bottom of entrance door had white tape all the way across the bottom of it. Frige and microwave looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a year. Water all in the floor from a leak. NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE AT ALL. I have 35 pictures of how nasty and disgusting it was. Mad that it cost me $73.00 for a place that shouldn't cost $2.00."

"The room was clean but old. The electric went out twice, so no lights, hot water, I had to go to a friend's place to shower and get dressed. The shower curtain rod was pulling out of the wall, so it never went all the way to both sides. The shower floor was so slick I almost slipped several times. The room floor itself was slick due to condensation. The bathroom hinges had been painted over so many times, it would not shut correctly. There were no bars in the shower, so stepping out of the tub was scary and dangerous. In order to walk to the ice machine I had to walk on the entrance road instead of a lobby door. I will never stay here again. The ladies cleaning the rooms were sweet kind and very helpful."

"I stay in a lot of the red roof motel and that one is the worst I ever see all brand … Room full of stains bar room door that not close and is damage and after trying to close it my hand was greasy and the other sticky Also find a soap open on the counter… I stays in Nashville yesterday and it was definitely 100% better. The parking is full of graven and sand I practically drop my motorcycle one and ram in the wall when the sand make me lose balance… the walls are sticky. I sleep all dressed on top of the bed sheets. I will give that place -10 stars"
