The Watering Bowl

"My dogs run to the door every morning in hope of it being a daycare day! Watering bowl staff are amazing and I appreciate knowing my dogs are well cared for!"

"Wish they were more transparent and/or offered the ability to check on your dog. Something happened to ours but we have no idea what. For about a year she was the most excited puppy ever pulling down Brentwood on her way to The Watering Bowl. She would whine happily at the top of her lungs and it was the best part of our morning dropping her off to such excitement. Something changed, and suddenly she was tail tucked walking in, even later getting to the point that she would hide from us on opposite sides of the car door we opened REFUSING to go to this place. Nothing would get her out, she was nothing but fear and stress in the parking lot. When we brought this up multiple times the front desk essentially brushed it off. “Sometimes they’re not up for it” or “I’m sure she’s just tired, she did fine today”. Nothing more, no other feedback when we asked about what might have happened or how she was handling the subsequent days. I’m sorry but when your dog is hiding from you in the car only when in this parking lot something is wrong. We have about $70 in day passes for this place but refuse to make her go again. We get that dogs will be dogs, there are degrees of control, and things happen. But what’s frustrating to us is the continued downplaying that something happened and changed our dog’s perspective of this place. They don’t even let you have camera access to check in throughout the day. Wish this place was more transparent overall."

"This place is cool. There's an open floor plan, and the dogs are having a great time. The team does a thorough background check of the dog(s). You can set up an account to make scheduling and addressing concerns more efficient"

"This is from a few years ago. Our golden was told she couldn’t return because she was being aggressive. When looking at the online video, she was clearly trying to stay away from others. If turns out she had a UTI and was not feeling well. They still never let her come back. She is now a therapy dog and never had any aggression. The staff there never noticed she was sick- lethargic and not wanting to play."

"I have some dog training experience. So I was glad when the staff asked all the right questions before my dog’s first session. They have a LOT of dogs in a session, but they staff appropriately and only allow safe dogs. This may be a bit much for anxious pups. Weekends are about half capacity and a great way to ease your dog into the environment. The staff will provide great feedback to assist!"
