"This is a pretty good place to live me and my mom have been here since fall 2018 when I was 17 and it’s very peaceful and calm area to live in. The clubhouse workers are great people and very kind and they keep the packages safe for us, during the summer the pool worker are very good at making sure everyone is safe during the pool season, maintenance workers are always great at fixing things that are broken and always in a good mood and ready to help us with whatever’s broken, landscapers always make sure decorations and grass looks nice, janitors makes sure the property is always looking nice clean everyday, and front office staff are always great with helping people move in to the property. The neighbors in the community are very great people and this is a very diverse community and you could meet people from different states or parts of the world as well. The clubhouse is always great to go to because more than just getting packages you can use the gym and office area as well there, ever since using the gym I’m starting to get a little faster and stronger, and if the office area is great to use if you need to type or print anything important out. And during the year they have great decorations and lights for holidays and seasons for December and January there a lot of bright Christmas lights every where that gives this place such a great a special feeling and in the front where the office is decorated nice during December and January, and they have special lights and decorations for Valentine’s Day, St Patrick’s day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving as well and they look great and during the summer there’s a water fountain they have on all day and night and it can light up different colors at night and looks very nice as well. In closing if you’re interested in looking for a peaceful and great place to live with friendly and kind neighbors and workers Versailles on the lakes in Schaumburg is the perfect place to come."

Despite the potential of the property itself, the management's approach to resident concerns and maintenance requests has been disheartening. Instances where legitimate issues were brought to their attention often resulted in what felt like retaliatory behavior rather than attempts to resolve the matter constructively. The lack of professionalism and empathy from some staff members not only affected the immediate living experience but also created an unwelcoming atmosphere, which seemed to foster unnecessary tension within the community. This has led to a situation where, despite the amenities and location, I would hesitate to recommend this property to others looking for a harmonious and respectful living environment."

Despite being fully prepared, I was initially missing one crucial document, which I added after the lease signing, under the impression it could be seamlessly incorporated at a later stage, possibly with a fee. This led to a significant misunderstanding about the requirement to present this document upfront, resulting in unexpected limitations for me, notably the inability to secure a garage for my personal vehicle. I want to make it clear that my feedback targets the management practices rather than the living experience at Versailles on the Lakes Schaumburg, which has been wonderful. The natural beauty, superb clubhouse services, and amenities have genuinely enhanced my living experience here. This positive aspect has influenced my decision to provide a more favorable rating this time. However, the core of my issue remains with the need for more transparent communication and flexible solutions to accommodate unique situations from the management side. "Lived here for a year and a half. Despite some getting used to with a multi cultural hallway experience, Versailles on the Lakes was actually an amazing apartment complex in terms of location, beautiful groundskeeping, friendly and fast maintenance staff, and accomodating office staff. Having a balcony was so nice, and although the apartments have carpeting, I really didn't mind it after awhile. For the money around Schaumburg, this is a great deal. Walk to McDonald's, Chik Fil A, Xsport, portillos, Guzman, half price books, it is super convenient! The few negatives I'd say were: - loud air conditioner - frequent fire department and police visits - people smoking pot at midnight - lack of lighting on the walkway at night - minimal sidewalks Other than that, bill and crew made us feel very at home!"
