"I've been here a while now, and I really like the place. They're constantly making improvements, the buildings are nice quality, And the people in the office help me with everything I need. Alexandra in the office is fantastic with my questions! I live on the ground floor, and I've never had any sort of issue with pests, you'd have to try to be dirty in order to get an infestation because they regularly have people that come and do preventative spraying. I like all the amenities they have been adding, and all the new events they've started doing. They even gave out free pizza the other day! I would absolutely recommend this place!"

"To be honest, I’ve lived here for almost 5 years now and the quality of the complex has been constantly declining… We had flooding from upstairs neighbors for over a year and have had a sopping wet hole in our ceiling for at least a month and a half… It only finally stopped because they FINALLY moved out Saturday after our last resort was looking to take legal action… Nothing is ever done in a timely manner repair-wise, I have to badger the rental office to get anything fixed or looked at at all… You would think that after a years time of dealing with flooding leaks and a burst pipe ruining a bunch of my personal belongings that they would be more prompt helping LONG TIME RENTERS… But no. The customer service is abhorrent, the cost of living here is far too high for what you’re getting. Not to mention its constantly dirty outside because no action is ever taken against litterers and when it is (making a fine for it,) … they don’t even enforce it. The picture is what my bathroom ceiling has looked like for almost 2 months now. Yet barely getting any response from a property manager regarding getting someone here ASAP to look at it. Btw this is only one of the several horror stories we have from the last 2 years of living here. I have videos of my bathroom ceiling POURING water, its caved in 3+ times as well. Oh and don’t forget the literal mold spores that started growing. I’m pretty sure the ownership changed in the last 2-3 years which about lines up with the change in reviews. You’ll notice about 2 years ago and older the reviews are raving, however almost ALL of them after that are bad."

"Literally move anywhere else. Lived here for nearly a year now, the walls are cracking from an AC unit that was made in the 60s. And get this, they said we have to pay for the repairs! First week of moving in the water in the kitchen sink was not even usable, straight up brown. Called somebody and, guess what, had to pay for the repair. Same thing happened with the plumbing in the bathroom. People loiter all the time around the place, so don’t expect to get sleep at 3 am. They offer the gym and the clubhouse but you can’t even use it because it closes at 5 or 6 and most people work a 9-5. And don’t even expect any privacy because they will just come in to do repairs, but not the repairs you need. Only repairs to make the apartments look nicer to draw in more people. Hell, I accidentally locked myself out one day and called the front office to get help with the buzzer, and the guy hung up on me. Luckily, my girlfriend came home, but I can’t imagine someone who’s elderly doing that and being stuck because the office doesn’t want to do their job! And the worst part of it all is these problems have been caused by time, but I know god damn well Blackhawk is going to take my security deposit from me because of this faulty apartment that THEY can’t seem to manage correctly. Terrible staff, terrible quality, and way too overpriced. Do yourself a favor and don’t fall for this trap. There’s plenty of similar priced complexes in less than a 6 miles radius from here, which to my knowledge, are much, much better than these hawks. Blackhawk sucks!"

"Do not live here unless you enjoy having rats in your home. Rats running around in the hallways. Called the office everyday and no one answers. Office is always closed for some reason. Unprofessional and inefficient. Always bad treatment once you get a hold of them. They’re people smoking in the hallways and loud music at night. We moved out like 2 months ago and don’t they don’t even want to give back our deposit. Definitely not a good place to be living. Stay away from there. This place should be closed down."

"They placed me in a basement apartment which is not what we agreed upon so first red flag. The neighbors left laundry in the shared washer dryers for days at a time. You can’t use the clubhouse, they keep it locked up for no reason. And our upstairs neighbors were clearly selling and doing hard drugs. Called cops multiple times and reported them to the office, they did nothing about it. My kids bikes were stolen. People let their kids running and screaming through the hallways. Oh and people were SHOT AND KILLED there last year or year before because they let anyone move in. Loiterers in the parking lot playing music all day/late into the night. The tall blonde office lady was rude whenever I had a question or request. Do not live here if you have any standards."
