"I’m not sure how this emergency clinic gets high reviews, but everyone has different experiences. My experience was terrible. To start off, the front desk is clueless on how to properly communicate with patients. I understand they see distraught owners and sick pets everyday, but where is the compassion and understanding? Nowhere at this clinic. Including the physician. I know they place your pet on a list of severity and so if your pet is not severe, you will be waiting a while. My dog was in severe respiratory distress. She could not breathe. And we waited an hour and half and they did NOTHING to help treat her initially. She had a 105 fever. She was basically suffocating and they kept sending in a young, inexperienced tech to relay information about my dog. Where is the doctor??? I understand they may be busy, but the urgency was not there. I refused to hospitalize her there. They did nothing to treat her fever which jumped to 106! They have no urgency and no compassion. I only experienced one tech that was very sincere, but it wasn’t enough for me. I ended up taking her to VEG in katy which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They were extremely urgent and responsive and very compassionate during this hard time. I ended up having to put my baby to sleep that night, but so thankful to have such amazing doctors and techs to help me through it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE in Sugar Land. They are awful. All they care about is money and you’ll be waiting for hours and hours even if your dog is on deaths doorstep."

"My baby Bandit became suddenly very sick Christmas Eve 2023, the next morning on Christmas Day I rushed him to this Emergency clinic because my Vet was closed. The staff was wonderful, especially the Lady Doctor (I think her name was Devan), she knew how sick he was (viral pneumonia) & how upset I was. We spent 4 hours there while they stabilized him & was ready to go home to see my Vet the next morning. I cannot thank all of the people who saved my baby & will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend Sugarland 24 hour Vet emergency care to anyone. 10 star facility & staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"We brought our dog in for a follow exam with Internal Medicine last week. The receptionist was courteous, professional and polite. The tech that came out for our pup was caring and patient with our hesitant dog. The vet, Dr. Medici, called at the time requested and gave us a detailed report of her findings and treatment options. We like having the opportunity for early morning drop-off with a vet call back. The only reason our rating is a "4" rather than a "5" is because I think their charges are on the pricey side. However, I feel the care is excellent and caring."

"Definitely recommend! They took care of my baby Kiwi very quickly when she needed surgery. Even after Kiwi was discharged they checked up on her continuously. Even till this day it’s been 3 months after her surgery they call to check on her. Special thank you to Dr. Bubenik!❤️"

"Five days before I gave birth to my son, my sweet dog broke her leg. She required surgery and needed an external fixation device for several months post-op. Needless to say, this was a very stressful time for my husband and I. Dr. Bubenik and the entire team was fantastic. They took excellent care of Reagan pre and post-op. Dr. Bubenik was very thorough and answered all my questions. Reagan had to be medically boarded for several days and the entire staff sent me daily photos and updates! I am very thankful of the excellent care they took of Reagan. Her leg has healed up wonderfully and she is back to her playful self."
