"Last night we arrived to the Hampton Inn and Suites in Sugar Land, which we booked through Expedia. They were overbooked and didn’t have a room for me. I had to contact Expedia to cancel and the reservation and get approval from the hotel to waive my cancellation fee… Cancellation fee? They didn’t have a room for me - I showed up. Well, this morning they decide to charge their cancellation fee anyway, equal to one night’s stay. So, I had to request a refund. I showed up, you turn me away, and charge me a cancellation fee?! Beautiful hotel, but horrendous service. Adding Hampton to the bozo list."

"One of the nicest Hamptons for sure! One of the nicest hotels overall! Super clean and new! Rooms are gigantic! Fitness center is new and beyond equipped! Lobby and presentation of facilities are beautiful!"

"Awful stay starting from the second I walked into the lobby. Nobody at the front desk and this was during prime hours. Once greeted it took 30 minutes to get me checked in mind you I already had booked and paid prior to arriving. Rooms were updated however the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows had a few stains in which I got switched out. I stayed 1 night and checked out early and went elsewhere."

"I recently stayed here for 4 nights. Leaving on a Thursday. I left behind a bottle of Versace Cologne. I returned to the property for one night the following Monday. I'm partially handicapped due to blood clotting issues in my leg. I asked the front desk girl about the cologne. She stated "I leave in 30 mins and I have paperwork to do but I'll check when I can and leave it with the next lady who's working the front desk" I ended up falling asleep around 830pm. I was woken up by the fire alarm going off. Most people evacuated into the parking lot. Fire department showed up and we went into the lobby. Front desk lady said "it's room 324 that set the alarm off" . So I assume someone was smoking in the room. Since I was there at the desk I asked if she had the cologne. She said she saw the note but she couldn't get into the house keeping area where it was. That I would have to wait until 8 or 9am and check back. This morning as I left I checked with the gentleman at the front desk. He only checked the lost and found. Refused to check with house keeping. Very frustrating and not cool when a hotel steals a $100 bottle of cologne. Be careful staying here. They seem to have lots of issues."

"Great hotel with great prices right by the Sugar Land Airport. It’s also in the same parking lot as several restaurants and activities. The rooms are a good size. The fit and finish of everything is nice. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very nice. The lobby was large and had plenty of seating. There was a sundry shop at the front desk, too."
