"Dr. Anthony Lee is as good as it gets as far as neurosurgeons in Fort Worth go (according to the neurologist that sent me to him), and you don't even need to use a knife to get that distinction! I have 2 slipped discs, one of which is bad enough that Dr. Lee wants me to go on limited duty at work (firefighter). He explained everything clearly. He listened, and asked if I had any questions throughout our conversation. He said an operation would fix my back TEMPORARILY but the data shows it would probably make things worse for the rest of my good discs in the long run - so he wouldn't do the surgery. He literally said he won't do it. He explained that my back would heal, and encouraged me develop a light duty life style (no lifting, keeping pressure off my spine, etc) so that my body could do its thing. The hard part is he said it would take 6-12 months. It will be tough but I think I can do it with his encouragement! Ethical doctors are out there, you just have to try to find them. I'm so blessed to have been sent to Dr. Lee."

Dr. Lee seemed to genuinely care about my injury and pain. He was patient and thoroughly explained all my treatment options along with his recommendation. He was so kind and willing to rearrange his schedule to get me scheduled for the OR as quickly as possible. The Surgery Coordinator DeAnna was incredibly helpful and both her and Dr. Lee went above and beyond to get me scheduled for surgery at a facility that would be most beneficial for me financially regarding my insurance. Additionally, I had to call the front desk today and they were so patient, reassuring me they had time to handle my needs as my 2 month old was crying in the background during that phone call. I feel incredibly blessed to have Dr. Lee and the rest of the healthcare team at FWBSI."
