"i hate leaving bad reviews but this pharmacy staff without fail always is extremely rude to me. i’ve been a pharmacy technician so it’s extremely frustrating when i know exactly what they have to do and for some reason have the worst attitude about it. i asked why my prescription that is normally free cost $15 and the lady just told me she didn’t know and walked away so after calling for her back i asked if maybe my new insurance wasn’t updated to which she said maybe. only to find out once i got my scripts i was actually picking two prescriptions and the one was still free. should’ve been a cut and dry explanation but she made it very confusing and not pleasant by any means. again, hate to leave a poor review but that is what this staff unfortunately deserves."

"While I have had relatively pleasant experiences with the Pharmacy, I recently had a VERY difficult time with a savings coupon for a prescription I had on file. After weeks of back and forth I switched to a local pharmacy who was able to get to the bottom of why my prescription that had been under $30 was coming up as $500! HEB CHOSE to use a new savings card that did not cover my prescription instead of using my original savings card on file, all without informing me. When I asked about this, the lady I spoke with at HEB was incredibly rude over the phone, to the point of arguing with me. The pharmacists/techs are NOT always right! Due your due diligence and fight for what you know is right!!"

"The folks they have working in this pharmacy are extremely unfriendly to anyone who asks them to do anything that even slightly resides outside of the cookie cutter robotic tasks within their day. Should you need to obtain a prescription, you can count on a three hour time from when it's sent to this pharmacy to when you're physically able to pick it up. Should you need a one-time exception, there is absolutely no budging on this and they will not prioritize someone who is extremely sick, uncomfortable, or in pain. On top of the lack of compassion and flexibility, the women who work here are extremely rude and become short with you should you not accept their answer, which is usually, "sorry, you're s.o.l. until we get around to it- come back in three or four hours or we'll call you." Honestly, of all pharmacy in the six states I've lived in over my 31 years of life, HEB pharmacies hands down have the most unfriendly and apathetic staff."

"Pharmacy staff does a great job of straightening out med refills when the auto system can't deal with it. The move from the old location (at the Y, store #225) to the new location on 290 (store #765) meant that the prescription numbers didn't automatically move in all cases. And I had just changed my primary care physician, so had to make sure they were calling the right doctor for new orders! They really do a great job."

"Helpful staffs assist in picking up the prescription. They also offer covid vaccine/booster shots. Staffs are also helped out in selecting over the counter medicines as well. They are open all 7days a week."
