"Was referred to the clinic for low cost medical care and testing for people who are uninsured. The office staff was great. I saw a male doctor I can't remember the name of but during the office visit we discussed diabetes and I said my husband was a noncompliant diabetic. The doctor pointed to his head and said he had mental issues. I talked about RA and meds and that my sister was a pharmacist who told me about the side affects of available medications. He told me that told him my sister was a very negative person. I said I ASKED my sister to give me information because I have been misdiagnosed, undiagnosed, over medicated, and undermedicated by docs since I was young and got ill. I am PROACTIVE about my health. l left the office in tears and won't be back. I returned to my out-of-pocket primary care and I'll pay for good medical services rather than have a doctor who knows nothing about me or my family make snap judgements about people he doesn't even know."
"I haven’t been so lucky with the physicians I met so far at PCONT aside from doctor Matthews, so I was worried before coming in. I was seen by doctor Amy NP today, she’s truly so kind and knowledgeable, patient too. She understood my needs and reviewed my previous results to see what the best course of action for my situation is, she recommended me some medication that would work better for me as well. I’m so glad I met with her today, the staff was great too honestly, never had a problem with it."
