Hidden Ridge on the Canal Apartments 1290 Hidden Ridge, Irving, TX 75038

"I lived in this apartment for a year, but it was like living through a horrible scene every day. There was always some problem here. Within 2 days of moving in, the AC wasn't working, and during February's 20-degree weather, I had to make an emergency call, but they only did a temporary fix. Then, there were incidents like AC duct leaks in the bathroom, kitchen burners malfunctioning, and insects throughout the house, which I had to handle myself with insecticide. During peak summer, the AC started leaking again, and when I called for emergency maintenance, they said it wasn't an emergency, leaving us in discomfort for two weeks. When I asked for pest control, nobody showed up. There was always a smell of weed outside the house, and every month, something would break, like the mailbox, washer/dryer, or the main gate. The cleanliness inside and outside the house was pathetic. It was a very dirty apartment, and when we moved out, they sent us a $1100 bill, claiming the carpet wasn't cleaned, there were pests, and the paint wasn't in good condition, etc. If someone is curious about experiencing hell, they should move into this apartment and spend a year here to satisfy their curiosity"

"The maintenance shutter the water down without noticing the office, so no notification to the residence. When never I reported, the administrator seemed to have no clue. At first, the lady told me that someone in my building changed their toilet that's why they needed to shut down the water and they would turn it on in 30 minutes. But, after 2 hours the water wasn't running yet, I called back, and they said there was a leak outside my building and they were trying to fix it. I went around my building and checked, and there was no leaking, and no one working there. So, I called the office again, but they said people were working hard to fix the leaking. I said I didn't see anyone working outside my building. And, the officer said, "I don't know". I was confused, "Why she doesn't know? She works at the office there". But then she said that the water might run back at 4 pm, which is 2 more hours from the last time I called. So, it will take 5 hours to fix the leaking water. I wish the maintenance work professional, notify the office about their plan and give the resident some time to save some water. It showed me how unprofessional they are working. Sad to say."

"I stayed at Hidden Ridge for two years... from 2021 thru 2023. I have to say my experience was wonderful. The office staff Debra, Monica, etc. are knowledgeable & courteous and always attended to any issues I raised with empathy. Never had any issues with service requests. They came on time if I had a request. In the last month I had no AC but they got me a window unit as I waited for a fix. Good area with a beautiful park to take walks. I had no issues during the period I stayed at Hidden Ridge!"

I had great fun with my kid today. Rosa, Deborah & Scott (cares team) took great care of the event as they do of their tenants."
