"( 2 Year Review of One Bedroom Apartment ) The only reason I moved here was out of desperation for an apt after I was kicked out of my parent's house. They market the rent as only $800, but in reality it pushes close to $1000. There's a non-negotiable cable fee, internet fee, and water bill that's occasionally high. $1,000 for an apartment that's barely more than 300sq ft is insane. Now let's talk about what its actually like to live there. Everynight when I get home I can always hear my neighbors walking around upstairs. The creeks are loud and throughout the entire day I can always hear were they are upstairs in the house ( including the bathroom ) The appliances such as the kitchen and bathroom are pretty small. You can tell the oven and burner tops are very old and used. Overall its not a great place to cook, the oven tends to smoke up the house half the time and occasionally trigger the alarm. I hope you own an air fryer. As far as the safety & crime of the area its hard to say. I came home everynight past midnight and didn't have any issues. As far as matienence I've had a lot of things break on me. The hot water has stopped working at least 4 different times as I've lived there. My Toliet broke twice, I've had at least 3 light bulbs go out and the front door was extremely squeaky so it was super obvious when I was coming and going. They also don't clean any of the dust out of the AC filters, you have to do that yourself. Lastly I wouldn't even bother with the dish washer, when I tried to use it a few months after moving in there was bunch of dark murky water sitting at the bottom of the washer. To get each thing fixed it took matienence about 2 - 3 days to respond to each given issue IMO the only redeemable thing about this place is that its conveniently close to everything, including the mall and a bunch of fast food places. There's also a nice family owned liqor store called Sam's Liquor thats only half a mile away but in no way does that make up for everything. In summary - $1000 for 300sq ft of space. - Creeky floor boards so you can always hear your neighbors. - Old appliances so cooking sucks and is a pain to do. - A fair amount of things breaking and needing matienence through out the year. I've sense left and got place that's actually worth paying $1,000 a month for."
"I LOVED ALEJANDRA PORRAS . She was very sweet, patient, went out her to make sure I got what I needed done. When u apply here make sure u make yourself acquainted with her. When, I arrived she made me and my family feel right at home. When she showed me the grounds which is beautiful I instantly feel in love. Thank you so much. Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else."
"These apts suck!! They try to drain you of everything in your bank they say rent is 800 but your bill comes in and it’s 1000+ the apt managers never answer and when I bring it to their attention that my car gets broke into more then once they don’t take accountability or warn other neighbors. It’s a dangerous area who just try to deprive of money. I since then moved out and getting charged $350 just for “carpet ripped” when there was no carpet ripping at all. If it wasn’t for them over charging everyone or trying to take money out of their poorly applied appliances they would be out of business! Save your money and time go somewhere else who cares about you trust me there are better out there!!"
"The greenery is nice for living in El Paso but I feel the price isn’t fair for the actual living space and age of building and appliances. Complex is over due for major improvements."
"Great location for a great apartment next to the golf course on montana ave. Everything you need is nearby. Love my apartment!"
