"John paddy was the best manager ever. He was fired or quit and they hired a manager from a sister complex to dual-manage both properties. She's friendly but she's never here. The maintenance is unreliable and/or doesn't seem to be getting my requests. I have open requests from when I moved in 11 months ago. Sometimes my requests get marked complete when it's clear that they never even entered the unit to fix it. The pool never opened this summer. They were supposed to replace a filter but never did. My neighbor got sick after swimming there. He is consulting a lawyer after the property did not disclose that it was dirty water. The remodeled rooms are simply just paint jobs and rolled on tiled wood tiles. The doors dont even close all the way. John used to greet us with cookies, dog treats, drinks, and would actually go out of his way to fix a problem. He was always a phone call away and even paroled the complex at night. During the day i frequently saw him out there with a broom sweeping and picking up. He cared about this place and it was easy to tell. He even had a night watch and would alert us when suspicious activity went on. He actually went to Ace hardware once just to buy a screw that was missing from one of the cabinets here. He came up to the unit to fix it himself when the maintence wasn't available. This new manager, while cool, is clearly overwhelmed. She is never here and doesn't return calls. She's busy at her own complex to bother here; therefore, we are basically SOL when it comes to needing something. Bottom line: I don't want to leave even a single star."
"The new management is bad wouldn't recommend moving in not worth it"
"Moving in to these apartments was a nightmare… the manager (at the time) was very unresponsive, would tell me one thing and do another. When we were doing our walkthrough, it was disgusting. There was dead bugs all over the place, they didn’t sweep, mop, or really put any care into it. They took “paint over your problems” way too seriously. There was a command strip that was painted over, it takes 3 seconds of your time to remove it. There was mold growing in the cracks of the shower. The kitchen was falling apart, well, most of the apartment was. Floor boards, door frames, windows, all of it falling apart. They got paint all over the floor as well. This entire disaster was with the previous manager, the new manager seems to care a lot more. I’ve seen the renovated apartments, and they’re very nice compared to what we got. Besides the initial move in, here’s some pros and cons. Pros: -cheap rent -great location (never heard of any crime, and it’s close to all the shopping centers, and getting anywhere in El Paso is within a 30 minute drive) -great views of the Franklin Mountains and it’s star -easy access to Fort Bliss (main post) -the new manager is easy to talk to, understanding, approachable, and always available -maintenance is quick to respond to the maintenance requests and will have you set in 24 hours Cons: -it’s an Integrity Management property, I’ve never heard anything good come from this company. -neighbors… we had some neighbors that would smoke right in front of our door, causing the smell of cigarettes to take over the room. And we had a neighbor that would harass us 24/7, knock on our door, run, yell at us, peek into our windows, but the current manager took care of the situation. -apartment itself is very very small and has minimal in-apartment storage -swamp cooler instead of refrigerated air conditioning, during those 100°F+ days, the apartment would be no cooler than 80°F and would be humid. It was miserable, we bought a $600 AC unit which helped. -the property walkways and grass areas were incredibly uneven, which caused lots of puddles to form when it rained, and promoted mosquitos, which are a massive nuisance -the windows are single pane, as thin as paper, and extremely flimsy. The locks for the windows do not work, I was easily able to break into my apartment when I accidentally locked myself out -the kitchen is incredibly small, narrow, and has terrible use of space -the master bedroom closet is decently sized, but the rails and shelves are incredibly warped and feel like they’ll fail at any second This is easily the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in, but the current manager is turning the property around and making it much better. I will say, if you are looking to move in here, do a very thorough inspection. I trust the new manager will take care of you, but the apartments themselves are pretty mediocre at best."
"I have lived here almost 2 years and LOVE the apartment. I decided to leave a review now bc the new apartment manager TINA is awesome. Maintenance is always right on time and no complaints. Location is central and walking distance of entertainment, food, shopping, colleges, and public transportation is right out front. My neighbors haven't been bad and I've had no issues with packages coming up missing or my place broken into. My neighbors are friendly YET mind their business at the same time. Pet and kid friendly. Fireplace, stainless steel appliances, laundry on site, washer and dryer hookup, pool, walk in closet, and carpet or no carpet options. The ONLY complaint I have is the master bedrooms bathroom is a shower ONLY but I have a 2/2 to myself so I can use the other bathrooms bathtub."
"I have loved living here as well as my husband. Fannia was amazing months ago when I first inquired about this place. The apartments themselves are perfect for couples or single folks. Not too old but not brand new. There’s paint on the walls and new carpet. I love having a gas stove and fireplace! Pretty quiet area, but honestly you can’t blame staff if there’s rowdy neighbors anyways. They love and recognize our dogs! Anytime I’ve had a maintenance request, it’s been fixed same day. Going to be sad when we have to leave solely because of the people! Love our neighbors, the community, staff, and our home! Thanks Ashton Parke!"
