"Hello. I’ve been a tenant for 2 years here at Dyer Palms. I just wanted to give you my experience here for the last two years. When I first got here Priscilla was the new property manager coming in. She was very nice and professional sending out letters to each tenant stating she was the new property manager. She was always on top of any issues going on in our apartment. Always responded in a quick timely matter. If there was an issue with any financial issues she was quick to fix it. She had amazing events for the children here for every holiday. Fast forward to now the new property manager Valeria is rude! I walked in to fix a financial issue and she didn’t welcome me into the office didn’t even acknowledge me until she heard me speaking to the representative I was on the line with. She never welcomes or says hello when I walk in which is very unprofessional. Which brings me to my next complaint about her. She always talks over you and doesn’t let you speak which is rude! I find that so disrespectful coming from a tenant who is supposed to feel comfortable and be able to talk to their property manager. Which I don’t feel comfortable at all! And lastly we were told our AC’s were supposed to be turned on the 7th of April which has still not been put on! I rescheduled my husbands appointment to be home and not be charged for missing them. Well last week I called the office to see when they are coming because I never received a curiosity notice about it being delayed. I’m working around their schedule which still hasn’t been put on. It’s been two weeks and she still has yet told us when our ac is going to be put on!"
"Lived there for 2 years. The apartments are nice inside and peaceful outside with the exception that there are car thieves that steal your things if you don't lock your car at night. However, when I moved out I left it clean and even took video. They sent me a bill for almost 1000 for cleaning and for repainting the rooms. I disputed but they only knocked 80 dollars off the bill. They said they could charge me because we didn't do a walk through with them as the lease says so. But we notified them 30 days in advance of us moving out and they never mentioned it because they take advantage of people. My advice to whoever lives there is demand a walk through and take pictures of all the rooms when you move out or else they'll charge for normal wear and tear."
"Been here 4 yrs and never had we had so many issues like we have this past year! Management is extremely unprofessional! Never answers calls or text! Days before rent is due they decide to leave a paper at our door notifying us that the PO Box for rent will be closed on January 1st and our payment has been mailed!! Tried speaking to someone about it and of course no one ever picked up and corporate isn’t any help either !! Now our rent will be late and will be charged late fees that we will not pay!"
"They change management every time and unable to keep staff. The attempt to force policy’s down tenants is after the fact trash bins are always over flooded with trash on the ground maintenance is ran thin to one person. They don’t follow there own lease agreements and there so called app to make payments is at there leisure. Can pay it a week before the 1st and will take 2 weeks to process it. if paid on the first they process it the next day. They have had water leaks and promised to seal the leak to prevent out side rain to get into to apt that was two years ago. Other property managers have reached out but can’t do nothing about it because it’s left to management at dyer palms. They towed my car because it was just purchased and had no tags and on the property for 3 days are ring camera saw them walk up to are apt to leave a paper and hr latter tow truck appears and excuse is that are policy does not allow cars to be on the property if they do lot have tags. Or flat tier but yet no contact or notice of violation was filed with tenant. I wouldn’t doubt if there is mold in the apt"
"I had originally posted great things about this place until we finally moved out because our lease was over only to be stiffed with over 600$ in "cleaning" fees. I guarantee you that other than dusty ceiling fans to a few dirty base boards, oh and missing bulbs that I repeatedly asked them to replace..that apartment was not left with 600 worth of cleaning which according to Claudia (manipulative as they come) by the way said was 16 hrs of labor. Keep in mind though obviously shouldn't matter, we were never late on the rent, Mater of fact when we would compliment her on the service she asked if we could leave good reviews for her which indeed we did, only to see another side of her after we left saying that we owed that much. I wish I could say how I really feel about her but I just hope whoever reads this thinks twice before doing business here."
