"Totally ghetto and not a safe place to live. Most of the staff does not speak English and the roaches are out of control on the entire property. Drug dealers basically run this dump. Not a safe place at all. The police are always being called there because this place rents to trash. Gang infested and losers reside there. Don't rent here."

"While I can give points for a liveable unit, my bicker resides in the approach of exiting your lease. I informed management that I would not be renewing my lease, and they complied. A month later I still received a statement for rent when I'd clearly said I would not be renewing. Management had claimed that I was not on their list of non-renewal, even though I had text feeds to prove it. At the hand of THEIR own mistake, I was charged a pro-rated rent fee because they claimed that because of my lease ending 4 days after the 1st of the month, they'd have to charge me the extra days. Stacking on top of it fees that should LEGALLY be considered "wear and tear" and yet the cooperation is nowhere to be found. I've tried reaching out and no answer has been given. On top of that their water shut offs are hugely inconvenient as they normally wouldn't even give a full 24-48 hour notice. Additionally, they decided to add internet fees on top of allocated fees which bounced around a lot. Management clearly lacks any sort of insight when it comes to customer/resident service and I'd only recommend this place if it's your last resort option. And the worst part is I normally do not give bad reviews, but this place deserves its 2.5 star rating. Might I add they had a huge pest problem during the spring."

"Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. I originally lived in building one and the water did not function properly-there was only hot water in my unit and management told me they could not fix the issue. The unit was simply not liveable because the water was piping hot and could not regulate temperature. On top of this, they gave me my keys two weeks later than promised. The apartment was still not move in ready. After I moved in, Saul told me the unit needed minor repairs. The minor repairs turned out to be major renovations and I had to stay in a hotel and board my dog for two weeks while they fixed the apartment. After all of this, they transferred me to another unit, which I had high hopes for. It was naive of me to think I would have a pleasant experience living at this complex. They turn off the water multiple days a week for hours at a time without any notice or communication. Since it is evaporative cooling, the AC does not work when water is shut off. I feel like a prisoner in my own home-I work from home and can’t even use the restroom or wash my hands half the time because there is no running water. The staff is beyond rude and unhelpful. Santa Fe Place only cares about making money rather than the comfort of its residents. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone in the office. They take hours to respond and when they finally have the courtesy to answer, they couldn’t be bothered with offering assistance. This apartment will be perfect for you if you want to be roasting indoors in 100 degree heat and have multiple problems with management and getting any sort of maintenance requests acknowledged. Good luck to whoever decides to live here in the future, you’ll need it."

"The area is very calm and quiet, you'll sometimes spot people jogging or walking their dogs, but that's about it. Views are very pleasant, I enjoy our views to the deserty mountains a lot! A few renovations were made recently and that's always appreciated. There have been some issues with the water being shut off but it's usually on weekdays in the middle of the day so it doesn't affect us much. Only a couple of times we were left with no hot water in the shower, but this was corrected the next day. Office is very nice and responsive, maintenance people are very polite as well. Work orders have been done promptly. And pets are allowed too! Overall a nice place to live."

"The apartments themselves are in a beautiful area and are relatively quiet. I haven’t had any major issues and the small issues I have had were resolved quickly and efficiently. I really love that they are dog friendly. The apartments actually provide bags for dog clean up, which is rare for a lot of places and I think it’s great that they do. They have a small gym and a nice pool area. The staff also goes above and beyond with events for the residents. Overall, I am very satisfied with the office and my place."
