"Wonderful! Compared to the last La Quinta we stayed at this location knew exactly what was needed in a handicapped room. There was a walk in shower with a bench and adjustable shower head and wide doors and lowered vanity. Will definitely stay here again!"

"This La Quinta needs help. It's extremely outdated and has a strong musty smell. My room was super gross, with yellow stained popcorn ceiling and a dead bug in the overall gross looking shower. I also had a view of a wall outside my window leading to a more claustrophobic experience. I checked in at night, and was lucky enough to be moved to a different room when I shared about the dead bug to the front office guy. My next room was cleaner and I got a view of a pool. Very outdated but at least bed was clean and comfortable enough. I stayed here for a few days so that I wouldn't need to move my things constantly on my trip to Dallas. So, I had a Whole Foods bag (2 of them) on the desk that they provide. Well, house keeping trashed both of my bags with my personal items!!! I have lost my glasses which were in my bag because of this, so I'll have to buy a new pair. How their staff can be so incompetent as to trash a guests bag that is on top of a desk is bewildering to me. I honestly should've left and gone back to the Las Colinas location which is way better. They basically just shrugged their shoulders about me losing my glasses. The staff did tell me that house keeping would look through the dumpster but that was crazy and I doubt they'd find it. The first staff guy I shared my missing bag about obviously took NO action, and possibly it could've been resolved and i would've gotten my glasses back. The only thing this location has going for it is that there are restaurants in the area. Honestly, it's not worth it with how surly the stuff is and how utterly outdated it is. Oh, and the front doors of each room are sort of angled towards each other which I find bizarre too."

"I have stayed at this hotel, on occasion, for years. The location was good for me - close to Addison airport, reasonably priced and the front desk employees were always pleasant, friendly and helpful. I decided to stay yesterday and most of those reasons changed. The location remained the same but the price went up and the front desk employees were anything but pleasant. I suspect the hotel changed hands. It has been repainted and fake grass was installed around the pool. Something happened to the TVs - they are tiny. Also, the common/breakfast area looks as if there was an attempt to update except for the cheap plastic flowers on every table. I had to ask if they were staging a wedding rehearsal or wedding party where cheap was the theme. ( I didn't mention the theme) When I checked in I was told a $100 deposit would be required. I had never been asked for a deposit before - but okay. I was told either $100 cash, which will be returned upon checkout, or $100 on my credit card which will take 7 days to refund. I had cash, so I gave the guy $100. After showering, I discovered the hair dryer didn't work and they did not have portable dryers. So, wet hair for dinner. The room was marginally clean except for the light switches - which were so gross you could not touch. This morning after breakfast, I checked out. Front desk asked if I would like a receipt and I said no - but I'd like my deposit returned. Remember, the deposit? He locked up the front while he went to verify I had not trashed my room. I stood waiting for 15 minutes in front of the folks eating breakfast while I guess he verified I had not stolen a towel? It was actually a tad humiliating. I mean - they have a credit card on file and my DL. I'm a 65 y/o woman, returning customer and in all my travels - I have NEVER had a hotel check to see if I damaged their property before I left. What were they expecting - that I took the tiny TV or was there a pile of beer cans in the corner? The employees are anything but friendly/pleasant. I'll miss the old hotel. I swim daily so I liked the rooms that opened to the pool. When I meet my adult children and their families in Dallas next week we will be staying down the street at The Addison Hotel. Nice, clean, inexpensive, the employees are FRIENDLY and the breakfast is amazing! Unfortunately they were sold out yesterday. Good bye LaQuinta - I've enjoyed my stays there over the years."

"Solid 2.5 star hotel. Breakfast had Texas shaped and regular waffle irons, bagels, bread, scrambled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, sausage etc. No black tea bags but hot coffee with real creamer at the breakfast table (only noon dairy creamer powder in the room). Eggs were a bit dry but nothing to complain about. Place is well maintained and staff are smiling faced and helpful. Rooms had a microwave, fridge and mini coffee maker in a convenient closet and a great iron and board. Hair dryer worked great, water pressure was ok and water was hot. Pool was clean and so easy to access. Hallways clean. Received two packages at the front desk and Drew / Dhruv was so nice about holding it for me. Great place, had a wonderful stay - would totally recommend."
