Comfort Inn & Suites Irving Las Colinas DFW

"This was one of the few options of hotels I had to book and other than having an ample amount of food places to choose from it has nothing else going for it. They were in the middle of remodeling so there was a ton of dust and part of the parking lot inaccessible. A bunch of men, who weren’t part of the construction, just hanging out in the lobby. Which is very intimidating traveling alone with kids. Fire alarms constantly going off. And what pushed me over, there’s black mold in the ice machine on the first floor. The grate that’s used to hold the ice bucket was missing and if you look straight down, there’s nothing but mold. Several other parents changed rooms because of roaches. Another parent had to have their toilet seat replaced because it was peeling. Another parent had to have the come install the AC because it was just on the floor. It’s a mess. I don’t recommend this place at all. I didn’t feel safe. The security lock on the door was also loose."

"Room was exceptionally clean. Even with neighbors and the TV was off, it was still quiet, peaceful and private. Plenty of towels as standard stock and check-out was right on time."

"Legitimately the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel for work and stay all over the country, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This place is INSANE. The front desk attendants are awful, too worried about their phone calls on their AirPods to barely offer help or a response to questions. The room has roaches, outdated, dirty sheets, vent fan in bathroom that comes on with the light SCREAMS a high pitched noise when turned on. I cannot think of a single good thing to say about this place besides the location. Avoid at ALL costs."

"Ok hotel convenient to the airport. The hotel is a bit dated, but it seems like they’ve been doing some maintenance lately. There is some fresh paint in the rooms and bathroom looked somewhat updated. Some of the fixtures were missing or damaged, but nothing too bad. The smoke detector was missing most noticeably. Two of the lights didn’t work. The room was clean enough and I felt comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the sheets were clean. There was a safe, a mini fridge, and a microwave. It’s right near the train line, and quite close to the airport. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. Ok value in a city of very expensive accommodation."

"ROACHES!!! The worst experience I've dealt with. I understand some hotels may have bugs or what not but the service/refund after acknowledging it to the front desk is TERRIBLE. heavy set indian fellow at the front dest was rude and lying about the refund the whole time. answering and hanging up the phone until i walked to the front then he was playing nice. and now that im back home states away almost a week later and still no refund and he's back to answering and hanging up... i never leave reviews but i would hate for anybody to go through this. I wish they would let me upload the video... Room 114 They need to shut this place down.."
