"A hotel located in the northwestern outskirts of Dallas. It is close to the Texas Proton Therapy Center where I worked for a week. The facility is very clean and well organized from the parking point of view. The rooms are spacious, bright and equipped with all the essential comforts. It does not have a breakfast service and the room service is on request. Overall a good hotel for business trips."

"First of all, I was not asked to do this review. I just think it is time I do one because they deserve to have an updated honest review, and after some very bad experiences with places to live in DFW, I am very grateful for Soka. I can't say enough amazing things about this place. It's like getting a luxury apartment with the amenities of a hotel and no one else in this area has this same concept. And it's in the heart of Las Colinas, so there's nice views. It's a safe neighborhood to take a walk any time of day. It is very secure and gated. They have an area you can use their gas BBQ grills, sit by the little water fountain area, or around the firepit and look out over the canal and watch the planes fly by. It is only about 10 minutes for DFW airport. And in walking distance (1 mile or so of walking) from a shopping area, grocery stores, and good restaurants. They used to be apartments until recently so all of the units are set up like luxury apartments. You get your choice of 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms. Your apartment includes DirectTV, Wi-Fi (works well), and a very nice washer and dryer (see pic) that you can put on delay if you want, nice stainless steel appliances. It is a great concept for people not looking to get caught up in a lease and /or travel often or just passing through. The staff is what makes it the best experience. Lilliana and Derrick keep the place running smoothly. The housekeepers are super sweet and make sure everything is done properly, and the two maintenance guys are hard-working and responsive. I saw somewhere that someone was complaining about not being dog-friendly. That's the farthest from the truth. My understanding is they charge a one-time fee for dogs. They have little areas for dogs to do their business and little bags and doggie bag receptacles. Fitness center is decent, all toiletries included (dish washing liquid, detergent, toilet paper, paper towel etc). The main building has a lounge area you can bring your company to eat or watch TV on the couches. There's also a station where if you need to print, you can use it to print and that's free of charge. It isn't cheap, but for all I just mentioned, it is well worth the money depending on your situation."

"We checked in at night to get some rest before heading back home. The room smells bad, the blackout curtain, closet doors and wall by the bathroom sink in the bedroom was all stained and as if its blood stain, scary! The hallway smells marihuana. It seemed like the strong smell was coming from the next door room. Very disappointed. I won’t stay here anymore."
